Caring for your Glasses

Updated on March 18, 2013

good vision

I did not know that you have to get your eyes checked every year. Health insurance for vision helps when you want a new pair of glasses or contact lenses. I am not a doctor, but the stuff that helps my vision I have learned from my eye doctor might help anybody else that has glasses. As you get older, your eyesight changes. I went to the eye doctor recently and it has been a while since I have seen one. If you wear glasses and you are required to wear it, you should wear it. The doctor can even ask if you have ever worn contacts and if you want a pair just to try on. I have not worn glasses for a long time and I really needed a pair to see. I can still see but not that far away. Visine is great when your eyes get dry or tired. Cleaning your glasses with a cloth, not tissue, with a special liquid or water for your glasses is good for your lenses. A mini tool is good as well if your glasses get crooked so you won't have to pay too much money to fix it. A glasses tool kit is sold at CVS for $1.99 or $2.99. A warranty is a good idea for when your glasses break and you can get a second pair without pay.
