   It's almost like asking what's the difference in eating a steak at Sizzlers, Applebees, or Denny's compared to Morton's Steak House or Ruth Chris Steak House.
   Basically the difference is ambiance, quality of the meal and service, and the overall customer experience. It costs a lot more $$$$
   Given an opportunity to stay at The Holiday Inn or The Four Seasons... most people with "money" would opt to go with the latter.
   
   Sex for money is prostitution plain and simple.
   However for those with money it's not about the destination but the journey. They want a prostitute who "does not look like a truck stop hooker". It comes down to style, class, and quality whether you're talking about restaurants, cars, hotels, or prostitutes. The rich will always find a way to Distinguish themselves from the poor.     The differences are insomountable.
    
    The ladies who work on the streets are generally poorer or have less options to begin with, who don't find that they can or want to do any different. They usually have to pay off the dealers in the area to be safer than having to worry about them,  or join the dealers ranks as well.
    
    The girls in "High Class" seem to have more choices surrounding their life and the people they see, and where they work from. Loosing a cut to the agency, but again still coming out with more money than working the street. These girls also work in a "dating" like capacity.
    
    I also think there is a legality issue depending on where your operating. Some places prostitution is illegal where being a "call girl" isn't because they can say they aren't just having sex. As they are companions.

    Sounds like you're looking for someone to confirm your beliefs.
    
    Many street corner girls are drug addicts and may turn a dozen tricks in a night.  A high class girl is likely to have a much lower number of clients be clean, well dressed, and mannered.
    
    Many high class girls do a lot more than sex.  Often they are companions for the evening and may go out for dinner, the theatre, or spend an entire evening with someone while the street corner girl is out in the rain trying to get as many tricks as possible.
    
    It's like trying to compare a burger to a steak.  Both cost money, both will feed you but what would you rather have?

    I'd say the only difference is that the sexual activity may take place in a safer environment compared to a street hooker hopping in the car to be took for sex or some form of sexual activity also that I believe there is a lot more risk of the customer being a dangerous one on the street's rather than the average man who uses escorts.

    A street prostitute will likely have a pimp, work when they are told, hand over a lot of the money and have to take any punter who approaches them. They will probably have sex in a car, or behind a building. They run the risk of arrest, and will most likely be on drugs and working the streets for that reason
    
    A high class call girl will work for herself - maybe an agency. They will work when they want, keep most of the money, decide if they want to be with a client and usually have sex in an apartment or hotel. It will be like a date with a definite happy ending.
    
    Both are money for sex, but one is a much better job.

    Well it's basically their looks and their skills that vary! I read an article about 4 days ago in a medical journal about this topic where they tested prostitutes from different "price-classes" for STD's and the infection rate was basically the same even though "low-class" prostitutes often serve far more customers a day (mainly because they earn far less than high-class prostitutes and are often forced to do it, or need the money desperately for drugs) than high class call girls (often students trying to make fast money) do.
    
    The main problem was that many high class agencies condone unprotected sex when the clients payed more money, which is of course morally very wrong.
    It was also mentioned that the infection risk of several bacterial STDs is very high even if you use a condom, so personally I wouldn't take the risk whether high- or low-class prostitute...
    
    And you mentioned that "in the end it's just money for SEX" well if you look at it that way, then a lot more girls are prostitutes based upon your definition.
    
    Oh and there's also been an article recently how STDs seem to be spreading more and more in "developed countries" because people tend to underestimate them or think that high-class prostitutes or the hot girl from school/work would never be infected with an STD. So please use protection and prevent the statistics of infected people to rise anymore!
