The scariest thing I did was consider being in a polygamist relationship.  Thank goodness I came to my senses because that would have been a hard thing to explain to family and it wouldn't have worked for me cause I am high-strung which means emotionally it would have taken a huge toll on my spirit.

ROFL  I have to laugh now, but I actually did this when I was a lot younger.   At a beach party someone dared me to walk through the large bonfire we had going...Of course we had all been drinking, I think I was around 25 at the time.   So I grinned and said that I could walk through fire and not get touched.

I did, and no part of me was scorched at all...I sincerely would not suggest anyone try this, but this has to be the scariest thing I ever did in my life....

Oddly this question is intriguing. For me I have to give my honest answer as I read the question, but really it is two answers:

    1) Waking up
    2) Going to sleep

You know you're in a great dream and the alarm clock goes off
    and
well, some times we all may be a little scared of the dark

It was a hot summer on the bord walk in Jersey with a friend of mine when she decided we should go free falling. It was the scariest moment of my life. Waiting in line made my heart beat faster and faster. But in the end it was so worth it. It was so much fun, and I would do it again in a heart beat.

Well, I swore I would never tell anyone this story.  But, I saw this question, and felt obligated to tell the HubPages community.  I am being completey honest here. The scariest thing I have ever done was.........

Walked into the kitchen at night, ...with no lights on.
