What are the best home remedies for back pain?
The pain is like a catch and pain all at the same time in the middle of the back and is not constantly hurting.
First of all, that's one of the creepiest picture I've ever seen.
I think that soaking in Epson salt is pretty much the cure for all muscle/joint pain.
I got it on Google...Hope it wasn't too bad, Maybe I should edit?
NOOOO! Don't edit it! To be honest it was so creepy that it enticed me to read the article. I still cringe when I look up there and think, "That poor woman! Get her to a chiropractor STAT!!!"
My husband has constant pain in the back and I will use Eucalyptus oil up and down the spine and it carrys it out thru all the nerves to the pain and helps to get rid of it. You can use it neat, which means straight or you can go 50-50 with olive oil.
I also us a product called "Southanol II", it has DMSO in it. It goes through 3 layers of skin within about a minute. It also works very well. Hope that helps. He is 64 and I am 68. If you wonder.
Thank you so much for your comment and the remedies you gave, We both have back pain, he for a long time and me since last Friday. We will be trying your cures, and I will report the results back to you. You sure look great for 68!
I am 50 in that picture. On Facebook there are pictures of me older. My hair on "Teenage Pro-Lifer" Hub has a picture of my hair on there which is mine now.
Have you tried a heating pad? If it's caused by tight muscles the heat might loosen them up.
A heating pad may help, but moist heat is more penetrating.
Be real careful when lying on a heating pad. My husband did that and he layed on it all night and woke up with the worst case of shingles in the groin area. He spent 2 weeks in bed from it.
Treatment depends on the cause. Rest is always a good option. Avoiding further strain is important. Sometimes strengthening and stretching exercises may be indicated. Sometimes heat or other physical therapy modality may be helpful. Massage may be helpful. Good posture is always important, as is proper body mechanics - proper lifting to avoid further back strain. Sometimes medication can help, including corticosteroid injections, depending on the cause of the pain. I have had those and no longer have any back pain.
If you have a catch at the back, then lie down on bed on your chest and ask some one to massage your back with both the hands with eucalyptus oil,sit on the plastic armchair with low back then push your body back on the chair you will hear a cracking sound from your spinal cord then get up and twist and turn ,you will feel relived ,see the chair ,http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/11417884/Plastic_Arm_Chair.jpg.
give cold compress to slacken the pain.Have a glass of hot milk with turmeric piwder 1/4 tsp every night before bed.sleep on a hard bed and always sit upright.
Thank you, I had been using warm shower in the morning, I will try this milk idea too...
Diane Woodson,if possible have 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water regularly ,it will help to remove the pain by balancing the pH of your body .
You know I have never understood that idea of consuming something acid or basic to change the pH of the body. I did my master's research on acid-base analysis and developed a copyrighted test on the subject - the body adjusts its own pH.
Our body does adjust pH on its own if you are healthy ,but when the level is disturbed you need to balance it ,I gave this remedy to many and got good results. In India it is called vata dosha .
But consumption of an acidic or basic substance will only cause the body to adjust the pH toward normal. When people are critically ill with metabolic or respiratory disease, they still compensate but in acute illness we give IV solns to balance pH.
The treatment for acute cases is different ,but when the condition is mild ,our fist step is to go for home remedies ,Its best to balance the alkaline intake(20 to 30 percent) and acid intake(70 to 80 percent ) in our body. Some of the foods that has
Well some day I will have to make time to do more research into this because coming from a medical background it just doesn't make sense to me.

The UK, like Italy, Spain and many other countries are in lockdown. The USA, from the News Media, I get the impression that a number of States in the USA are relying more on Social Distancing rather than actual lockdown? The lockdown in the UK isn’t as tough as in Spain or Italy e.g. leaving...
