What is the best natural remedy for eczema?
I have recently been mixing turmeric with coconut oil and having very, very good results. I have on patch of this skin condition on one ankle and it's been there for 2 years and nothing I have tried prior to turmeric and coconut oil has worked this well.
The challenge is turmeric stains and I am looking for a solution as effective and less messy. I have to say though, turmeric is FANTASTIC for removing the itch and reducing the size of it.
I recently saw someone post a hub about this which caught my eye. My son has suffered from it since he was a baby. I believe they recommended flax seed oil supplements. (Now I can't recall. I meant to bookmark it.) I don't know the cause of my son's except for allergies.
I use Triple Paste on my son. It's actually a diaper rash cream, but it has beeswax in it which helps waterproof and heal the area literally overnight. His worst spot now is on his arm.
Among the most recent findings has been D3, both orally, and topically. It is available both over the counter, and by prescription. Dovonex. I hope it helps, let me know. http://artist101.hubpages.com/hub/Natur … -Psoriasis
i hope it works for you. i take it for an auto immune disease that i acquired about 10 years ago. it actually helps with the numbness and tingling. Seems to reduce the symptoms of Lupus, which is what i have.
Turmeric with coconut oil are wonderful, but it sounds like it’s not a complete solution if it keeps coming back. Rather than continuing to treat symptoms, it’s best to eliminate or reduce the cause - and be done with it. The causes of eczema can be a combination of genetics and environmental (toxins). There are many things you can do regarding the latter:
- Cleanses, especially candida
- Colonics
- Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy
- Colloidal Silver
- Fasting
- Hydrotherapy
- Get a shower filter to remove chlorine and fluoride (these evaporate quickly from the warm water and turn your shower into a toxic gas chamber)
- Don't put stuff on your skin that you couldn’t eat (it absorbs into your bloodstream and adds to the toxins in your body)
If you want detailed info on any of this, you may want to go to naturalcures.com and get a membership - if only for a month to get the info.
I don't know how natural they are, but I've had luck with Hydrocortisone cream and aloe vera gel. Also, oddly enough, I found that while I was taking Omega 3 pills (fish oil) that the problem was less severe. It might have had something to do with more oils in the skin.
