Thank you so much for posting my article, Ravi. The reason lung cancer is so horrible is that by t he time you have symptoms it is often too late for an effective treatment. Prevent is the key to a healthy life if at all possible.

An important health related article, explaining the causes, symptoms and treatment for lung cancer.
As I have been informed, besides other factors, which you have mentioned, passive smoking is also one of the causes for developing lung cancer.

This is very informative and the information you provide is important to know, Pamela. I had a friend who died from lung cancer just months after being diagnosed, by then it was too late.
    Thank you for sharing, Ravi.

Chitrangada, I suppose passive smoke is quite similar to living where there is  lot of air pollution. I should include it in the article. I appreciate each of your comments, as always.

John, Your friend is a story we hear all too often. As I wrote in the article, so often once you have symptoms, it is too late. I hope somehow research finds a better way to treat this cancer. Thank you for your comments, John.

Thank you, Pamela, for this important and helpful article about lung cancer. It seems so risky for those who smoke voluminously. I do hope people would abandon smoking making their lives as well as that of their loved ones pollution free.

Thanks, Ravi, for sharing Pamela's vital work.

Hi Rosina. I have one family member that smokes, and it does worry me. I pray he stops! It is so risky. He does not smoke in the house, thank goodness.

    I appreciate your comments, Rosina.
