GARLIC - Miracle herb with incredible properties

Updated on April 10, 2013

What is garlic?

Garlic is known for thousands of years as a medicinal herb with broad spectrum of activity. Garlic acts as an antibiotic and protects against certain carcinogens. It contains more than 200 biologically active substances, including minerals, amino acids, enzymes and vitamins. One of the most important active ingredient of garlic is ALLICIN with strong antibiotic activity.

Benefits of garlic

Heals everything

Regardless of whether is in raw or green state, dried or in the form of paste, garlic is mentioned since ancient times as a healing agent for the treatment of high blood pressure, baldness, healing of wounds, atherosclerosis, against intestinal parasites and other diseases. In some languages, has a mystical meaning and is used in a variety of '' magic '' mixtures. Pasta with chopped garlic clings to the wound, because it has a mild antibiotic benefit. Mouth and throat after consuming garlic become temporarily free from germs.

If you eat garlic you will lose your friends However, if you don't eat it you will lose your health.

Medical use of garlic

Perfect for your heart

Garlic normalizes rapid heartbeat, improves performance of hearth blood vessels and supply the heart muscle with blood, leading to improved cardiac function and reduced thrombosis tendency. According to the results of some studies, garlic is one of the best means to prevent and repair clogged blood vessels. It lowers the level of harmful cholesterol in plasma, while increasing the concentration of protective cholesterol.

It also helps people who suffer from bloating and digestive problems, it may be useful in treating some other stomach problems, such as diarrhea or intestinal catarrh.

Garlic also promotes epithelialization and wound healing. It also helps with a variety of lung diseases and its antibiotic effect, for example, manifests itself with people who are suffering from the flu and bronchitis.

The latest research clearly indicate that garlic shows some anti - cancer properties. Study says that people who regularly consume higher amounts of garlic are significantly less likely to die of stomach cancer then those who do not use it. Another study showed that the oil from garlic and onion is effective against skin cancer. Regular intake of garlic reduces the risk of colon cancer.

GARLIC, LEMON AND HONEY

Finely grind 10 heads of garlic and mix well with 1 kg of honey and the juice of 10 lemons. Pour into a glass bowl, cover and leave to stand for 8-10 days. After that, two times a day, before meals, take one spoon.

The Most Important Thing

EAT GARLIC AND ONIONS - IT IS AMAZING FOR YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM!

What scientists say?

Garlic imrpoves your immune system

Diseases attack us less, if we have good immune system and if our body is strong and healthy. Of course, it's not a surprise that garlic helps with this too.

In Florida was conducted a study in which people ate large amounts of garlic, and their blood cells were acting on tumor cells 140-160% stronger and more destructive than the cells of people who had not eaten garlic.

Dr. Abdullah, who conducted the research in Florida, claims that minor amounts of garlic have positive effect on immune system. He himself has been eating two cloves a day since 1973 and since then he hasn't been ill. Given the fact that the human organism is a complex system, it is not surprising that garlic is the killer of bacteria and viruses, because it clearly has the ability to affect the development of body resistance. So, if you feel that you might catch a cold or flu, eat a little garlic.

Interesting information is that the author of the book ''FOOD-YOUR MIRACLE MEDICINE'' Jean Carper, said that infants whose mothers eat some garlic an hour before breastfeeding, respond better to milk, and that this smell, which is really intense, suits them.

WARNING!!

Negative side effects of garlic

There are things which are important to be emphasized when it comes to garlic. Some people react badly to it. One research was interrupted for 5% of the people, because they have been exposed to negative side effects, such as burning when urinating, bleeding hemorrhoids, irritability, etc. In excessive amounts garlic can cause harm to the kidneys and destroy blood cells. People taking anticoagulants and anemic persons must be careful when taking.

Breath which is incredibly after eating garlic is something about which is debated, as well as the positive effects of the same. There are various recipes on how to neutralize the smell of garlic : strong coffee, honey, yoghurt, milk, chewing parsley, cloves. How much garlic is effective and how strong are its properties, depends on where it is grown and what is the quality of the soil. So if you have a chance then plant and rear it on your own.

It is best to eat it fresh, crushed. In cooking you can use it when you prepare stews, salads, vegetable dishes, meat, soups, spreads and more. if you use it in cooked dishes, put it after the food is prepared.

IN WHICH CASES YOU CAN'T USE GARLIC?

With which drugs you should't simultaneously use garlic?

People who have an increased tendency to bleed, shouldn't take large amounts of garlic. Just in case, do not consume garlic a few days before surgery.

What side effects can occur when consuming garlic?

The literature describes cases of having an allergy to garlic, stomach irritation, heartburn, pain.

With simultaneous use of garlic with isoniazid, some antivirals, oral contraceptives may decrease the concentration of the drug in plasma. Garlic acts like an anticoagulant, and the concomitant use with large doses of anticoagulants may lead to bleeding.

Useful ingredients

200 active substances

The study has found that garlic contains around 200 active substances, in concentrated form, and that they are mostly concentrated in bulbs, although in cooking we use a flower, stem and leaves.

Garlic is rich in vitamins and minerals:

-allicin

-amino acids

Old Tibetan recipe

Tibetan recipe (garlic and lemon)

The recipe for this Tibetan medicine was found in the old Tibetan monastery inscribed on clay tablets. It is assumed it is first written more than 2000 years ago and is used against triglycerides, cholesterol and lime deposits in blood vessels, as well for long life.

This old Tibetan medicine improves elasticity of blood vessels (it prevents cracking of blood vessels and hemorrhage), prevents heart attacks, brain and angina pectoris. It prevents cancer, improves eyesight and rejuvenates the body.

PREPARATION : 300 grams of garlic and 1 kilo of lemon with peel, finely grind. After that put to boil in 1.5 liters of water, and then reduce the heat and add grinded lemon and garlic and cover the dish. On low heat boil this mixture 14-15 minutes (not longer than that). Then remove from the heat and leave it to cool. This is finished Tibetan medicine that should be put and kept in a covered glass jar.

This medicine take on an empty stomach every morning, 0.5dl during 25 days. After that a break is required of 10 days and then you can repeat the process until your health is improved. After that stop using the medicine.

LESS KNOWN RECIPES - How garlic cures baldness, obesity, facial flushing ...

Garlic lowers blood pressure, it treats chronic intestinal disorders, ulcers, skin diseases ... but also has been used as an embellishment for a long time.

This plant is a great addition to masks and linings for skin and hair care. About the effects of garlic we know a lot, but have you heard of these recipes. Some people who have tried them say they work ...

REMOVING FAT FROM THE STOMACH - Put warm lining on the belly made of cooked vinegar, water and garlic powder (5 grams). After 20 minutes, take a shower and apply anti-cellulite cream.

ANTI CELLULITE - Take 30 grams of leaves of buds of birch and ivy, 20 grams of garlic and mistletoe, pour it with a quarter of cold water, cover and heat it to boiling. After an hour, strain and keep the wrap fifteen minutes on "critical areas.

FOR CLEAR SKIN - Three or four times a day, wash the facial skin with concoction of yarrow, mint or lemon balm, then rub the pimples with clove of garlic and brush with fresh cucumber juice or lemon.

AGAINST FACIAL FLUSHING - One to three times a day wash your face with unprocessed milk. Lubricate the skin of the face four times a day with houseleek juice to which you add equal amount of honey. After this rub in your skin cool tea made from garlic and wash it off after ten minutes with lukewarm water.

BALM AGAINST HAIR LOSS - What makes garlic the most respected in the world is precisely its curative effect on the hair or prevent its decline and baldness. Several cloves of garlic put in 250 grams of 70-percentage unit of alcohol and let it stay for about ten days, after which the garlic is removed from the liquid. Tincture is massaged on the hair roots. To mitigate the smell, you can add a bit of lavender.

AGAINST SWELLING ON HEALS - Foot baths prepare in the following way: in the warm water pour the juice of two cloves of garlic and after 10 minutes, rinse with clear water your feet. If you feel a burning sensation, rinse your feet once more with chamomile tea.
