Is the American dream a delusion created to make the mass majority of Americans slaves?
The Day I remember dreaming my first American Delusion
The day the bubble burst
I remember reading in one of my expensive English classes, the great Awakening. I remember studying the great depression. I wondered in my naive little utopic bubble, how they conceive taking their lives over money, how dare they. Little did I know that the great Depression or Depression in general is not something to be taken lightly? Depression is symptomatic of something much more systematic and sinister at hand.
What is that systematic thing that seems to be killing Americans, non-Americans, etc.? Greed is too easy that’s also a symptom. The true dirty hand lies in devaluing humanity as a whole. There simply is no regard for human life. I remember my mom saying stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
There is a huge lack of character due to dehumanizing our fellow man. Some will find any reason in the book to keep from treating a person as an equal, their race, religion, social economic status, their size, their appearance, their gender, their sexuality, their age, the list goes on. It is truly a power play to the say the least. America is turning into one big lynch mob.
They are so dehumanizing to one another and see no value in humanity that anyone is up for grabs, women, children, homosexuals, Muslims, Christians, the lynch mob mentality is barbaric, but what do you expect from a country who prides their patriotism on a legacy of trickery (the natives again sorry I am Lumbee and Cherokee in part), murder, lies, deceit, a further dehumanizing form of slavery (sorry I am also part African American), stealing (there’s my Spanish coming out, lol). Their true patriotism is narcissism. That is not to say that all of America is horrible, but a strong warning. Treat others the way you want to be treated, stop tolerating people and start respecting them despite the apparent difference.
