What is a high protein diet? Well, as the name suggests, it's a diet that you eat mostly high protein foods. Let's start with the benefits of the high protein diet:

  • Foods high in protein usually keep you fuller longer, meaning you won't feel like you need to eat all the time.
  • Protein helps build and recover your muscles after a workout.
  • As a general rule, foods with high protein are healthy; most cupcakes have <1 gram of protein, same with chips and other junk food. Meaning, those things are not on your diet!

Who can benefit from a high protein diet? Anybody who is dedicated to it and will stick to it! You don't have to be an athlete or a body builder to see results from this plan. It's no wonder why so many people choose to go on a high protein diet for their weight loss/muscle mass gain needs! Let's get to the diet!

Breakfast: 4 large eggs, 1 cup of fat free milk, half of a banana. 32 grams of protein.

Lunch: 2 chicken breasts. 1 cup of brown rice, 1 cup of green beans. 31 grams of protein.

Dinner: 2 fish filets, 1 side of salad, and a serving of fruit. 25 grams of protein.

Snacks: Take a protein shake 1-2 times a day to ensure you get enough protein a day.
