6. Avoid wearing tight clothes.
When you are trying to stop acid reflux, you may have to sacrifice your fashion statement, or at least change it a little. That tight jeans and gorgeous belt may not be too friendly to your stomach. Tight clothing increases the pressure on the stomach, potentially affecting the digestion of food.
7. Consult your doctor.
If you find that you still suffer from acid reflux symptoms after following the steps above, consult your doctor immediately. Your acid reflux may be severe and you may need the help of a professional. Your doctor could also recommend surgery if medications are not enough to get rid of acid reflux.
