Why Not Be Happy?

 Life goes on every day whether we choose to participate in it or not.  So why walk around angry, depressed or spew negative thoughts?  Have you ever considered the power of positive thinking?  Sure, you may be in serious debt, have issues at home, be upset about something.  This is where the power of positive thought can help you out a lot.

Positive thinking is contagious.  Everyone around you senses your mood and is affected by it.  People will enjoy being around you if you are happier, no one wants to hang around a negative nelly.  Positive thinking will bring you improved relationships, better health, satisfaction, and inner peace.  It takes so much energy to be negative all the time.

Here are some things you can do to develop your power of positive thinking and become happier.

ALWAYS use positive words, like "I can"

DISREGARD negative thoughts. Instead, substitute them with HAPPY thoughts.

ALWAYS visualize success when you are embarking on something new.

SPEND time with people you love and hug them.

DO things that make you feel happy and content.

REDUCE the amount of time you spend watching the news or reading a paper - world events are usually quite depressing.

EXERCISE regularly to release natural endorphins into your brain.

ONLY spend time with positive people.  Drop those friends who suck your time and energy with negativity.

Every day you are alive is a gift. Why spend time being negative and unhappy? It takes less energy to be positive and happy. Besides that, happiness and a positive attitude is infectious.  LIFE IS SHORT, BE HAPPY!
