It's time to exercise. You can walk right in your home! Leslie Sansone will walk you through the walk and then some!
Recently it's come to my attention that I need to get a bit more healthy with my eating and exercise. I need to drop a few pounds plus pull my cholesterol down. My Doctor sent me to a dietation to help me get started. As we talked about foods and my health, the dietation suggested a walk at home exercise program. With my health problems of Arthritis and Fibromyalgia she understood I needed something gentle to start out with instead of anything vigorous. She said it was a really good walk at home exercise and I could choose my own pace. So I got it and I'm giving it a try. Leslie Sansone is upbeat and fun. She say's lets walk, lets talk. I like that!
You always should warm up first. Once you get that down and go through all the basic steps then the pace picks up. Don't worry, Leslie talks you through it all. You start out with the basic walk. Then it leads to side steps, gentle kick outs, kick backs and then knee lifts. If you haven't exercised in some time, your muscles will feel it. I know mine did.
I'm pretty excited about this program. I love that you can build it up to your own pace and miles. My dietation was right on with what she told me. Leslie stresses in the video's that if you can't do it fast just do your own pace, it's okay. So that's what I am doing! Not sure why I didn't do this before but now I am. Gotta get started somewhere!
There are several DVD's to choose from that Leslie has out. I'd suggest starting with this basic one until you get the feel of it. I've already seen a few others I'd like to try a little later down the road. All have the basic steps but of course at faster paces and minutes. The music in the video's are upbeat and your walk exercise is to the beat!
Tips To Keep In Mind:
- Wear comfortable clothes.
- Always wear tennis shoes while exercising.
- Don't push yourself. Just walk into it.
- Have a water bottle nearby.

I picked these three out because I know I want to get them but I think you'd like them too. Let's walk, Let's talk! Let's get the heart pumping and lose some calories!
Who doesn't want to walk with some awesome hits to listen to and most importantly exercise to! You might pick up a dance step along the way. This would be a fun workout!
I'm sure we all need a little belly blasting. I know I do! It's doing the walk with calorie burning cardio and there are floor sessions for targeted sculpting.

Walking to Hits
In looking at this book, it would be something good to go with your walk at home program. It's inspirational; need good faith you can do it. It helps with meal planning too. I'm seriously considering investing in this book.
