Lose Weight Not Your Confidence

Updated on March 11, 2016

To shed those extra calories, all you need is a pinch of motivation and a handful of determination. If you are strong willed, nothing can stop you from achieving what you set your mind to. If after putting in all the efforts, you are still not able to cope up with your diet schedule, please spare a while to have a look at the below questions, which are sure to help you out:

1) If I keep on stuffing myself with junk food without exercising, how will I look six months or let's say a year from now?

2) How will it affect my health?

3) Will I be able to wear my favorite clothes, if I do not workout?

4) Will my personality still remain charming if I do not take care of my diet?

5) How will I fit in my social circle with that clumsy posture?

Getting in shape makes you feel good about yourself. It somehow adds a lot of grace and charm to your personality. You start gaining confidence when people begin to praise you for your beauty.

Always remember one thing, you should not lose weight for others but for your own good. This way you will always try and keep yourself fit and fine no matter people notice or not.

Do not workout because you hate your body, workout because you love it. If possible, buy a weighing scale and keep it handy to check your weight every day. This will act as a great motivation.

Make sure the first thing you do after getting up is doing some meditation and yoga. It will improve blood flow and keep you energized throughout the entire day. There cannot be a better start to your day than doing a few minutes of meditation and asanas.

Sip a glass of water in the morning. Once you develop a habit of drinking water early morning, you will never have to deal with constipation or stomach problems.

If time permits go for brisk walks in the morning and/or evening. Avoid taking an auto rickshaw or a vehicle for short distances. Try walking wherever possible.

Plan your day accordingly. Set a time for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keeping a fixed time will help your body function well and you will not feel hungry at all times of the day.

Do not expect miracles to happen. Start off slowly having lots of patience. Eventually, you will be able to flaunt that perfect physique!!
