Get The Recipe For My Meat & Veggie Stew & Lose Weight With Me!

The way this steak and vegetable stew has worked for me has seemed like magic!! I started losing weight almost five years ago after I reached 239 pounds and decided I couldn't bear to see 240. I was afraid of what was waiting beyond that! It hurt just to exist. I had two hips and a knee that were going bad and the extra weight certainly wasn't helping with that.

One day I got sick with a tummy bug. I happened to have some of my homemade vegetable soup in the fridge, and I discovered it sat ok on my upset tummy. So I kept eating it... for a few days. And then I noticed something remarkable was happening - I was losing weight! My tummy got over its upset but I kept on eating the veggie soup, made another big pot, then another. Before I knew it I was in a real routine of losing weight and my clothes were getting loose. It felt like a miracle because nothing else I'd tried had worked!

My husband was working out of town most of the time so it was very easy for me to eat whatever I wanted or needed to. We lived in the middle of nowhere with no restaurants within miles, so eating out wasn't a problem. I lost over 50 pounds by the time we moved back to Nebraska, seven months later. After that the weight loss slowed down a lot. I was back around my whole family again, and back in the city, and my favorite foods were everywhere! I did maintain all my weight loss, so I didn't go totally out of control.

I'm still losing gradually but very slowly, and that's fine with me! I have another 30 to go, and Lord willing, I'll make it!

I'm still diabetic and hypoglycemic, but all my health related numbers have gone into the ideal range with this weight loss. I'm a much healthier person than I have ever been. And a lot happier too!

In terms of sizes - I was pushing into the 3X range when I started my diet. I am now in a solid size 16 and am grateful for it!

My Recipe, And Why It Works...

The reason this stew was working for me is that it is very low carb and relatively high in protein, which is what my body needs. It's also full of a big variety of vegetables. For the full details on exactly what I'm eating, I'll refer you to my "Lose Weight Without Going Crazy" lens, link at right.

If you'd like to get my original recipe, order info is just below. I hope you will try it, and I hope you have a lot of success with your weight loss efforts!

My Favorite Clothing Designer On eBay! - Norma Kamali Rocks! If you aren't a Norma Kamali fan yet, you just might become one!

I discovered Norma Kamali's clothing when her line was introduced to WalMart. She had two different groupings, one very casual and one more dressy-casual, suitable for office or going out.

I admit I made it a goal to collect as many of her items as I could! They felt wonderful, laundered like a dream, and wore like iron. Just when I was really building a nice wardrobe, WalMart discontinued her line. And yes, I did stock up on the clearance items!

In my "After" photo at the top of this page, I'm wearing Norma's long sleeve jersey top and her jersey boot cut pants.

Fortunately, lots of people sell brand new Norma Kamali on eBay, mostly at fairly reasonable prices. I just bought her blanket cardigan from ebay this month for $24.99, brand new with tags. Perfect example.

Her items that say "jersey knit" are a very slick, stretchy fabric. Not cottony at all.

Try it, I pretty much guarantee you'll love anything you buy!

If you're going to blow it... don't blow it on a day-old doughnut.
