Nutrition and Health Posters to Decorate the Classroom

Nutrition Posters Make Great Teacher and Parents Gifts
Healthy food posters, like the creative Foodscapes and other beautifully photographed images of vegetables and fruits are a visual way to encourage children, teens and young adults thinking about eating healthier foods.
The foodscape posters and puzzles are fun ways to promote health in the classroom. They might even inspire students to create their own foodscapes.
Nutrition related giveways (fruit and veggie erasers or stickers) and games are other ways to help kids and tweens think about eating healthier foods.
Take a look at the Nutrition posters, puzzles, games and giveways see if you are inspired to be eating healthier foods too.

Decorating the Classroom with Nutrition Posters
As a nutrition teacher, I have put up several visually appealing posters of healthy fruits and vegetables on the walls of my classroom.
These green apple posters (seen in the photo) are right next to the main whiteboard at the front of the classroom, so are seen by the students as the look to the front of the classroom.
It is my hopes that these bright green apple posters on the walls will encourage students (consciously or subconsciously) to make healthier food choices and eat healthier foods.

MyPlate Posters

MyPlate Posters for the Classroom
In the back of the classroom I have also put up bright health promoting posters for students to see.
I also hope that other students who have non-nutrition classes in this room, might be inspired by these colorful posters to eat healthier.
The Fruit & Vegetable Challenge Poster has big, bright forks with holding fruits and vegetables that make you want to go out and eat fruits and veggies. The poster also includes several meal ideas using veggies and fruits.

Making Healthy Food Fun with Puzzles
Puzzles are another fun way to learn while looking at colors and shapes to put pieces together into a large image.
I will be adding at lease one of these incredible food landscapes like the cart and balloons to set up in our home for my daughters to work on a family jigsaw puzzle.
The 500 Piece Colorful Fruit Jigsaw Puzzle below might be a good one to use in a classroom (fewer pieces to lose). This fruit puzzle measures 18 x 23.5 inches (1.5 by 2 feet).
It is a great incentive to have a fruit or healthy food party in the classroom to celebrate once the puzzle it put together.
