Oil of Oregano and Pneumonia: What No One Knows About And What Everyone Doesn’t Want You to Believe

Updated on October 24, 2016

It’s no secret that Pneumonia happens to be quite arguably the most common killing disease known to man. Consider any Pneumonia treatment or cure out there on the market, and you’ll find there’s plenty of competition waiting in line to prove that the infection can be thwarted before it’s too late. Here’s the thing about Pneumonia, though….

What Makes Pneumonia so Dangerous?

It’s technically not really an ‘infection.’ There’s no virus or bacteria out there carrying the name ‘Pneumonia.’ In reality, Pneumonia is a *condition*. Actually, multiple viruses, bacteria and even fungi can cause this condition affecting the lungs, the very organs responsible for bringing life to every other corner of our system –

  • The Heart
  • The Brain
  • The Skin
  • The Stomach

Without our lungs, we don’t exist. So imagine what would happen if something affected our lungs…. Imagine if we were thrown into an environment literally teeming with all those viruses, bacteria and many other despicable organisms waiting to wreak havoc inside us.

And they all could potentially cause Pneumonia.

Pneumonia is very much like a common cold. Only worse. How worse? Imagine those germs attacking your nose, your throat, maybe even your airway. Picture that freakish virus – or bacteria – making its way toward your lungs. That can be a serious problem.

Now, know this. Medical science has shown this. You can, in fact, breathe bacteria and viruses in and out as if it were nothing! Our immune system is designed to filter all of that out on a regular basis. That’s why oftentimes when you catch a cold, it simply passes within a few days without any serious problem.

So how does Pneumonia then happen? Simple. Our immune system weakens. It doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. Those germs, those bacterial infections, they spread. Our body doesn’t filter them out through the air like normal, and they then attach themselves to the most vital areas of our lungs: the alveoli.

Those are our breathing tubes. They’re the bridges between the other vital part of our system: our blood. Oxygen passes through those breathing tubes, the same oxygen we breathe in from the outside world, and that oxygen transfers to our blood vessels for transport throughout our system.

Watch as your alveoli literally flood with the nastiest, pus-filled pockets of goo, germinated with ugliness and thickness. That’s a cold, typically existing in the confines of your nose, only right smack at the very bottom of your lungs. Plugging everything up.

Ever see a person suffering from Pneumonia? They have a hard time breathing. Temperature’s up. Sometimes they look terribly lethargic. The feeling can be something alike to drowning in water. In fact…. That’s exactly what it is.

The Reason Why Pneumonia Is so Dangerous

If the infections of viruses, bacteria and even fungi can cause this condition in your lungs, be prepared for trouble. Pneumonia is unusually fatal for something that can be so common. There are a few typical forms of bacteria and viruses responsible for potentially causing Pneumonia, such as:

  • Pneumococcus
  • Haemophilus
  • Staphylococcus
  • Streptococcus
  • Influenza

And that’s just the heavy hitters. Many other viruses and bacteria can be capable of causing Pneumonia. This is where you need to read very closely as to why Pneumonia is so dangerous….

Look at your immune system. Look at it very closely.

Do you ever wonder why the diagnosis for Pneumonia often involves plenty of water, rest and relaxation?

There’s technically no cure for Pneumonia. At least Pneumonia caused by a viral infection. Bacteria often can be eradicated by antibiotics, and then the problem is solved. But when we’re talking about viruses, we’re talking about a life-threatening event – in your lungs.

The fact is when the infection spreads to your lungs, your body – your immune system – actually fights back. Numerous white blood cells flood the area in your lungs to attack the germs with such force that your entire region there becomes inflamed. It’s the body’s normal response to an infection. That would explain these common Pneumonia symptoms, actually:

  • Pain on the Side of the Chest
  • Slow and Labored Breathing
  • High Temperature
  • Phlegm-Filled Coughs
  • Slow Movements

One could actually make a case that the infection isn’t causing the discomfort; your body is! This is the normal antibiotic process of dealing with foreign invaders. Your body becomes a battlefield. And it’s not a pretty sight.

But over time…. You win! In essence, you cure yourself. The infection is subdued, and over time, you return back to normal.

But if your immune system can’t do what it’s supposed to do, cure the disease…. Watch your precious alveoli, the harbingers of the very oxygen your entire human body requires to survive, suffer and drown in death. The normal gas exchange from the lungs to your bloodstream halts. This increases a stockpile of the choking carbon dioxide, a gas typically disposed of through the bloodstream with the flow of oxygen – hence the shortness of breath.

The alveoli get more and more clogged, causing your entire body to starve for that oxygen. It’s a slow death. Drowning in your own fluid building up inside your lungs. Nothing could be more perilous. You become confused, disoriented. Everything from your heart to your brain starving for air. Heart failure may occur. And, unfortunately….

All because your immune system became compromised.

What Can You Do About Pneumonia? What If Your Immune System Is, in Fact, Compromised?

It’s a scary thought. But it could happen to anyone. The fact is everyone’s immune system can be weakened by anything, from our lifestyles to the environment. Our major priority is this:

We must protect our immune systems. Period.

While antibiotics can solve the problem, specifically with bacterial infections, the fact is our immune systems were created for that sole purpose. What can we possibly do to ensure our immune system’s health?

Introducing Extra-Strength Oil of Oregano

Researchers have, in fact, found the diamond in the rough – the secret, the untold weapon – that is Extra-Strength Oil of Oregano. More importantly….

Essential oils.

These natural substances called essential oils have a particularly interesting effect in regard to bacteria, viral infections and even fungi. We’re talking about such efficiency that these oils can be claimed as the ultimate executioner, resulting in the quintessential “cure” to just about any condition from a certain point of view. Specifically in oregano, the origanum vulgare plant, the oil creates an autolytic reaction in many infectious organisms.

Just take a look at this excerpt from a documented scientific study on the research of essential oils as an effective remedy:

“Many essential oils have been shown to be effective against a number of organisms. Origanum oil, cinnamon, and clove were judged “very active” by examining their inhibitory effects on Clostridium botulinum 33A [15]. In addition to effects against Klebsiella pneumonia and Staphylococcus aureus, Origanum oil is fungicidal [12,14]. Also, antiviral actions of Origanum and clove oils against RNA and DNA viruses have been reported [22]. As a potential mechanism of action, the outer protective membrane of the viruses disintegrated after exposure to the Origanum oil when viewed by electron microscopy (22). Importantly, most essential oils of spices are classified as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) indicating that consumers can eat them reasonably without fear [15]. Accordingly, the benefits/risks ratio of essential oils in treating microbes would seem to be very high….

This pilot study raises a number of important considerations. The bactericidal effects of Origanum oil, other essential oils, and monolaurin in vivo indicate a need for further studies to establish the importance of these natural products in combating pathogenic microbes, especially those resistant to antibiotics. Because of the potential for fewer side-effects with natural products compared to pharmaceuticals, the health care provider might eventually recommend taking them prophylactically to prevent future infections.”

You can practically watch these oils do their work through a microscope. Spray some of these oils onto a petri dish piled with viruses, bacteria, fungi and other nasties, and you may be able to see all those nasty cells literally break apart like burnt paper. It’s utterly staggering how effective these essential oils are.

Carvacrol and Thymol – Oil of Oregano’s High-Powered Rocket Launchers

Carvacrol and Thymol are, in fact, the two main substances found in high-grade oregano oil. Both have been scientifically proven to be tremendously effective antibacterials, antivirals and even antifungals. A few drops of this oil with ample amounts of Carvacrol and Thymol, and Pneumonia would never see the light of day. And here’s the other truly amazing trick behind this incredible secret….

Thymol, When Associated With Carvacrol, Can, in Fact, Boost Your Immune System

Listen to this: the substance in question here, Thymol, is actually part of a naturally occurring class of compounds entitled “biocides.” These biocides possess formidable antimicrobial properties. What does that mean to you? That substance can actually reduce bacterial resistance.

Here’s another study done, proving that these key natural chemicals really can do what we say they can do!

aim of the present study was to determine the antimicrobial (AM) properties of plastic flexible films with a coating of microcapsules containing carvacrol and thymol as natural AM agents. Microencapsulation of these agents enables their controlled release and leads to the destruction (or growth inhibition) of a broad spectrum of microorganisms such as, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria innocua, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus niger. It was found that the studied AM agents are strong inhibitors to the growth of mycelium, but they were not effective against spore germination of mold. Thymol (T) and carvacrol (C) showed a significant AM activity against the studied microorganisms, with minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 125-250 ppm and 75-375 ppm for thymol and carvacrol respectively. The synergistic effect of combinations of thymol and carvacrol was also studied and it was found that the highest synergism was achieved at a concentration of 50% T and 50% C. The release of the AM agents was carried out at 4°C during 28 days. The concentration of the microencapsulated AM agents showed a range of zones of inhibition of 4.3-11.3mm for the microorganisms at 10% of thymol and 10% of carvacrol. At these concentrations the release of the AM agents (within 48 h) was greater than required for the most resistant microorganism (E .coli O157:H7), as reflected by the relatively large zone of inhibition. The results of the present study confirm the suitability of using microencapsulated thymol and carvacrol incorporated in polymer films for AM food packaging.

Ever heard of penicillin, probably one of the greatest medical ‘cures’ known to man? The greatest challenge we have ever faced is the fact that many viruses and bacteria strains end up developing a huge resistance to many manufactured and synthetic antibiotics. Why?

Because our immune systems get weak.

When that system of defenses starts breaking down, those viruses and bacteria strains actually build up. They get stronger. And stronger. And stronger. Up to the point where not only does our own body not have the strength to fight them off, but such powerhouses as penicillin can’t as well!

Ever wonder why you often don’t see results with some antibiotics and would need to approach your doctor for a different prescription? There’s a reason for that. Because those bacteria and viral strains get smart. They look for more ways to attack you. And our immune systems are just too slow to catch up.

Oil of Oregano can actually not only eliminate all kinds of viruses and bacteria, but can also prevent future infections by continually cutting down on the enemy firepower.

The research is clear: these biocides latent in Thymol and Carvacrol, the two main ingredients in Oil of Oregano, are scientifically proven to reduce bacterial resistance to other antibiotics through effective synergy.

In essence…. Oil of Oregano makes your immune system stronger.

The Reason Why No One Apparently Wants You to Know This:

Two words: instant gratification. Our pharmaceuticals as well as ourselves are only interested in solving the surface of the problem.

We need to tackle the source. Our immune systems need an upgrade! The problem is we become so hassled by the fact that our normal biological response of discomfort and pain often gets translated to the problem at hand.

We just simply want to feel better. That’s unfortunately not the cure we’re looking for; rather, it’s just a temporary fix to a long-lasting and infinite problem.

We see prescriptions left and right. Resistances are constantly developed. So more – and more – and more groundbreaking drugs see the light of day to bring the cures we all dream of.

That’s where the money is. That’s how money is made. And we keep coming back for more. Just take a walk through the pharmacy of any grocery store; the aisles are filled with numerous ‘brands.’ That’s no coincidence.

The Fact Is Oil of Oregano Can Eradicate the Problem Immediately. All By Itself.

The proof is there. There are integral studies, also diamonds in the rough, to reinforce that proof. It’s, essentially, a way to find a true cure, a way you only have to proceed toward just once (actually, you could keep using it regularly, without a prescription, without refills, without co-pays and without side effects!). Of course, that “cure” is already inside you: it’s called your immune system.

That’s hard to believe, I know. But it’s true. Trust me. When the science shows that the essential oil can actually kill those viral and bacterial cells, understand that with regular and dedicated use, **you, too** can be rid of ever having to face Pneumonia.

You deserve it. Your immune system deserves it. Your life deserves it.
