Heather Brummett -
Heather completed her Bachelor's in Exercise Science and Chemistry in 1997 and graduated with distinction in 2001 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She started her physical therapy career in 2001. Since then, Heather has worked with several community dancers and athletes to help them recover from injury and enhance their performance. She has also become a Polestar-trained Pilates Rehab Certified Instructor and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Heather continues to hone her knowledge by working on her Certification in Manual Therapy with the University of St. Augustine. Click on Heather's photo above to learn more.
Meet Crystal Holt -
Dr. Crystal Holt graduated from the University of Utah in 2009 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Since this time she has worked in several outpatient orthopedic settings as well as occasional work in the home health care setting. She is currently working on becoming a Pilates Rehab Instructor through Polestar Pilates. She is also pursuing her manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy Inc. (NAIOMT). Crystal enjoys implementing both a hands on approach and whole body integration in order to help achieve each patient's maximum potential. She values continuing education and has taken additional courses, such as kinesiotaping, in order to provide a variety of treatment options. She draws upon her athletic background and her own experience as a physical therapy patient to better empathize and understand the psychological aspects of rehabilitation.
Meet Ade McCray -
Ade has been working and healing lives in health, fitness and dance for as long as he can remember from his childhood in Africa.
He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and received his postgraduate degree from the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Upon graduation, Ade was contracted for six years with the Bavarian State Opera in Munich as a guest performer and choreographer. His love for dance helped him discover the benefits and beauty of Pilates, therefore earning his Stott Pilates education before joining Balanced Physical Therapy in February 2011.
Meet Kate (Watkins) Judd -
Dr. Kate (Watkins) Judd received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University in 2010, and has been a board-certified Athletic Trainer since 2007. Her practice interests include working with performing artists and non-traditional athletes in addition to the general public, and the use of manual therapy with Pilates in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
