Pleasing Papaya Juice

Papayas have a smooth texture and an aromatic taste. It gives the consumer a healthy dose of nutrients, minerals, calcium, iron, chlorine, phosphorus and potassium. Although there are lots of benefits related to this fruit, it is particularly beneficial in diseases associated with constipation, blood, and heart.


  • 1 Medium Size Papaya

  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar or Honey

  • ½ Black Pepper Powder

  • ½ Cup Cold Water

  • Salt to Taste

How To Prepare?

  • Peel Papaya and remove all the seeds.

  • Roughly chop it into pieces.

  • Put all the ingredients in a mixer.

  • Blend until you get a smooth pulp.

  • Add more water if the consistency is too thick.

  • If you like it sweet, add more sugar/honey.

  • You can even blend the juice with crushed ice to make it slushy.

Health Benefits

  • Antioxidants like beta-carotene and lycopene are present in papayas which help oxidize cholesterol in your cardiovascular system.

  • Papayas are rich in folate and vitamin B both of which help in regulating the levels of homocysteine in the bloodstream. Increased levels of homocysteine can damage blood vessels which result in a number of heart diseases.

  • Apart from beta-carotene and lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin are other phytonutrients present in papayas that protect your eyes from UV rays.

  • As a result of its vitamin C content, regular consumption of papaya or papaya juice gives a flawless and glowing skin.

  • A substance called papain in papaya peel breaks down protein, when had in the form of juice or whole. If you have it on an empty stomach, this nutritious fruit cleanses your system thereby improving digestion and relieving problems related to the digestive tract.
