Can't Quit Weed - You are not alone

If you are addicted to marijuana and want to quit, you may find it difficult to stop smoking pot. You didn’t know how addicted you were until you tried to quit. The good news is that absolutely anyone can overcome this addiction. If you really want to quit, there are a few things you can do to greatly improve your chances of success.

First of all, get a plan together before you try to quit. If you try to stop smoking pot without having a plan in place, you will quickly learn just how hard it is. Everything works better if you put forethought into it and quitting marijuana is no different.

Time to Quit Weed

Start with Mental Preparation.

You need to be aware and ready for the strong withdrawal symptoms that you are going to feel when you quit. Being prepared for these feelings can make them easier to deal with when they do come. You should also have an idea of what you are going to do when you feel cravings. Are you going to take a walk? Chew gum? Again, knowing this ahead of time will decrease the chance of you giving into your cravings.

Quit Weed - The Social Scene

Another thing you need to prepare for when you stop smoking pot is how you are going to deal with your friends that usually smoke pot with you. In the beginning it can be very hard for you to be around your weed smoking friends. Many people decide to avoid their friends until they are able to completely stop smoking pot. It is also a good idea to let your friends know that you plan on quitting so that they know not to do it in your presence.

      you are dilusional if you think there are no withdrawl symptoms. do your research. i smoked almost everday for a little over a year and have personally gone through these symptoms of irritation/anger, lack of apetite, trouble sleeping, etc.

      Ya, if you want to quit you will have to stop hanging around people that smoke. You may have to move. If you quit those people wont want to hang with you anyway. cause you aint cool no more. :)
