One of things I found best for reducing pain was rolling my foot over a golf ball to gently massage the ligament. I also got dry needling into my calf muscle which gave an instant relief.

Dansko Professional Clogs work wonders. I am an overweight teacher who stands on hard surfaces a lot. These shoes have nearly eliminated my plantar fascitiis surpassing the inserts my foot doctor made for me which did not seem to bring any improvement whatsoever. I recommend them to anyone suffering from this painful condition.
