WHAT ARE PROBLEMS FOR?
Life has many surprises for every human being. We all expect from life something, but what happen when we do not get that? Is life only to come to have problems, suffer, feel pain and get into depression? Is there any good thing out of all those troubles? Is modern society good for us? Do we need another kind of system to have a better life?
Well, we will try to get some answers, but you need to check a doctor if you are feeling bad. Sadness can push you to depression and from there to a hospital.
It has to be a reason for all these problems in life and it has to be something to do to improve our life.
We are in this 21st century, but certainly we did not learn how to have a happy and peaceful life. Something is wrong, but not enough people are concern about this matter. Most of the people go to the doctor, the question is: Is that enough? I am not quite sure about it.
It is really important to go to the doctor periodically; but we have to do our part too. Yes, we can change our way of life to have a better one. Our own life has several aspects, we are not just flesh and bones; but we have feelings, thoughts and, in fact, a very complex brain that we are just trying to understand.
Modern societies are full of stress and we want to do things so fast. We live fighting against time every day: Running because it is late, rushing because the boss wants this so quick, etc. Nevertheless, we are killing ourselves!
We all know how important exercising is, but it does not mean all people do it. Why? Some would answer: Time! Actually, you are wasting your time if you do not exercise because the less you practice exercising the less you will live. The more you exercise your body the longer and better you will live.
Well, the topic about exercising is well known, I think. Let's try to check more about the emotional and intellectual problem that cause sickness, pain, suffering and depression.
Does anybody understand what stress is? Well, it seems that a few people do. The majority are to worry about their life's problems that they do not realize what is living without stress is. Seriously, people are use to pain, use to headaches, stomachaches, back pain, etc. They believe it is normal. They blame society, modern times, the system, their spouse and so on. But do they try to have a better life. Not really. They are just use to live in that way and they do not look for a better life.
Stress is the cause number one to generate sickness. It affects the nervous system, the cardio system, the digestive system, the immune system, the muscles, etc…. It cause irritability and therefore destroys relationships! It can take a person into depression and suicide! Nevertheless, people seem not to be aware of this problem. People are playing with their own life.
Do you ever laugh? Do you complaint all the time? Does everything bother you? Are you always irritated? Do you feel the need to run away from a place (House, workplace, etc.) Maybe you need to see a doctor or a psychologist… Stress can cause death! It is the cause number one of heart attack! Are you willing to die soon? Is it worth? Do you have kids or spouse? Will you leave them alone? Think about this seriously because stress will kill you.
How can you have a better life with stress? We all need to get rid of stress and we need solutions. You need a change in you r life. A new way to see life. New priorities. Your health is not a game and your love ones need you. So, it is worth to change for a better quality of life.
Number one: Check with your doctor and explain him/her the way you feel.
Do some exercise: Especially cardiovascular exercises (Running, walking long distances, etc.)
Relaxation: Meditation is great to relax and feel better.
Yoga: another great way to find peace and relaxation.
Vacation: Life is not working, working and working. You need a pause and forget all responsibilities sometimes.
THE SOLUTION FOR A BETTER AND RELAXED LIFE!
No, it is not easy to deal with stress. It takes patience and discipline, but we all can fight it. There are several good things to fight stress. Here are some of them:
The best of all is EXERCISE, specially CARDIOVASCULAR EXERCISES! Yes, they require a lot of effort, but life is like that. Nothing is easy and you have to pay for your own health. anyway, without exercise you can not meditate properly.
MEDIATION is really good, but if you are under too much stress then you will be not able to relax because your mid will be worry and too activated to meditate.
YOGA is really good. When I say YOGA it does not mean just ASANAS, but meditation, pranayamas (Breathing exercises), mantras, etc. Yoga is a lot better than just meditation. It has, sometimes, exercises and most of the time stretching which is really good for relaxation.
VACATION is really good to come back to work and do your best, but it will not long for ever, right?
MASSAGES are great, but you depend on someone to do it for you.
All these alternatives are good, but we need a discipline to recover the relaxation state lost in time. We need A NEW ATTITUDE TOWARD LIFE. It means, a new way to approach life, a new way to see life, a new way to understand life. WE REALLY NEED A NEW PHILOSOPHY, THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE HEART!
YOGA IS NOT JUST ASANAS, IT IS A LOT MORE THAN THAT. Yoga without the philosophy of the heart is not complete. YOGA HAS A GREAT PHILOSOPHY OF LOVE AND COMPASSION. YOGA IS REAL YOGA WHEN IT HAS: MEDITATION, PRANAYAMAS, CHAKRAS DEVELOPMENT AND ETHICS (THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE HEART)
