Updated on May 8, 2011

During past few years cell phone use has increased to greater extent around the globe. How to Minimize the Effects of Cell phone Radiation Exposure

  1. Call Duration We all love to use technology but use to take their negative effects for granted similar is the case with cell phone. Cell phone is a useful medium of communication but communication should be of necessity. Unnecessary long duration calls increase exposure to cell phone rays and risks too. Keep your calls duration to minimum to have less exposure.
  2. Cell Phone in Pocket Its been a known fact that keeping cell phone in front pocket can be more risky. Since it sends radiations to heart directly. Secondly it has also been reported from studies that lower body part is more sensitive to the effect of radiations than brain.
  3. Children should not Use Cell Phone too Often While there is little need for children to use cell phone still most of us love to give their kids cell phones as a gift. Cell phone use for children is more dangerous because they are in developing stage and can have long term effect long term effects of cell phone use on their health.
  4. Avoid Use of Cell Phone when Charging is Low As in low charge cell phone uses more power to establish connection. When battery is low do not keep cell phone near your body. Also do not keep cell phone directly near your ear while sleeping. Keep a distance!
  5. Radiation Reduction Cell Phone Accessories There are mobile accessories available today which protect you to certain extent from harmful cell phone radiation. These accessories act as a shield against rays and protect you from rays exposure.
  6. Cell phone use is increasing day-by-day and more children and younger people are using cell phones than ever before. Cell phone companies keep targeting young people by their so-called packages. There is still time and need of research to prove the negative effects of cell phone but enough evidence suggests that stay on caution!
