During our daily lives and routine we encounter simple problems that can often drive us crazy. Things like a coffee stain on your favorite work dress, a persistent bad smell coming from the fridge or even calculating how much food is necessary for a large dinner can drive us nuts. So I created this page full of simple solutions aimed to benefit any person or household. Believe me here you will find solutions for the problems you know you have and for the ones you are not even aware of. Most of the solution found here are gathered from my mom, family, friends and few emails that I have received over the years. They are all worth keeping, so make sure to bookmark this page or print it out as I will promise it will bring you light and peace in a time of routine despair!

The best way to keep your home free of mosquitoes during summer months is to cut few limes in half, pierce them with cloves and place one in each room of the house.

In order to remove the humidity of the closet you must place some broken chalk inside a large glass with a wide month and place the full and open glass of chalk inside the closet. You should then replace the chalk every 3 to 4 months or every 2 months on humid seasons.

In order to remove the bad odors from the car you will use 2 apples cut in half. you must place two two half apples in the front two seats and the last two in the back seats. Close the car for one night and the next day open the car and remove the apples.

The best way to remove a cake from a baking pan without breaking the cake into pieces is to wait until the cake and the cake pan are both at room temperature. I know we have the tendency to try to remove the cake before it cools down but that increases your chances of pieces of the cake getting attached to the pan itself. Once cooled the cake shall come out in one piece.

      I think these ideas are great. The few with gasoline are interesting. I am definitely going to try the lime and cloves to keep the mosquitoes away. Thanks for the tips.
