Personal Treadmill Adds Convenience & Ease to Workout Schedules

We are all familiar with the old saying, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” It also may be said that routinely walking on a treadmill could provide that same benefit. There are many health-related benefits from consistent work-outs that get the body in motion and the heart pumping.

From personal experience, I know that regular treadmill running/walking definitely lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels which make doctor visits and physical check-ups less dreaded. I can also attest that, for women in peri-menopausal years, routine treadmill walks help alleviate and sometimes eliminate those unwelcome symptoms common during this time of life. And this all comes with the added benefit of maintaining a desired weight plus firmer muscles, especially the calf muscles which eventually will develop that desired dimple distinction! Walking is good for general overall health and makes you feel better at any age.

The treadmill I purchased over ten years ago is a Pro-Form model 785. While researching current Pro-Form models, I found this Model 995 is the one comparable to mine. Other reasons I highly recommend the Pro-Form treadmill include the dependability and workmanship found in this brand. Our treadmill has been used regularly by our entire family through the years. Currently just my husband and I treadmill anywhere from three to six times per week each, and even with all that use we have experienced only one problem. A plastic rear guard that protects the moving belt broke. For a minimal charge, Pro-Form sent a new one on the way and they even provided tech-support to guide us in replacing the broken part. Pro-Form took care of the problem easily and we were back up and running quickly.

      I have a treadmill and I must admit that I have fallen off the wagon (or track so to speak). Thank you for the reminder for me to get my tush back onto the treadmill. I feel so much better when I do.

      Recently I've been able to use a treadmill where my husband has physical therapy. It has been a blessing, but I do miss having one at home.

      I run all year but would love a treadmill for the subzero days. I would need a compact/foldup one due to space constraints, but this one looks perfect for those with more elbow room!
