To your dismay, you noticed the large bump above your lip has doubled in size since the night before while looking in the mirror. What options do you have in treatment for cold sores? Don’t panic now, because you can still get rid of a Cold sore. There are many different remedies for these types of infections. Zilactin Gel

If you have had any type of canker sore, mouth sore, or gum irritation – this would be the best gel to use. Lip Balm

Did you know that lip balm is great for any types of blisters or sores. You can use it to help get rid of chapped lips while fighting the cold sore. Most people can use Vaseline, regular lip balms, or vapor rub to ease an uncomfortable sore. Vapor rub is also used to clear your breathing, allowing the lungs to open more easily and receive air for decongestion. Treatment for cold sores should always include lip balms to stop chapping.
