Using the Emotion Code to Heal the Body

I am working with this book and the methods revealed inside it and I have to say it is amazing.

Dr. Bradley Nelson outlines his experience uncovering "trapped emotions" and then shares a method to remove past experience/emotions that cause the body harm.

According to Dr. Nelson's research, trapped emotions can block the body's ability to heal itself properly by lodging in our energy fields and distorting the pathways that a healthy body uses to receive and send information.

Once you learn the simple techniques Dr. Nelson teaches, you can remove trapped energy in minutes and allow the body to heal pain and injury-on its own.

I own this book and I turn to it when I feel stuck or emotionally drained. I find it helpful and amazingly accurate, and I don't even need to know how this works for it to lift my spirits.

The Emotion Code Book

The process for removing trapped emotions is simple and anyone can do it. A simple magnet and a few questions is all there is to it.

Recognizing Your Energy Field

It is common knowledge that there is more to the physical body than meets the eye.

Case in point, the use of Kirlian photography which uses high voltage, pulsed electrical frequencies in order to take photographs of the energy fields radiated by all living things.

Kirlian photography reveals that all things animate and inanimate have an energy field, although living things have an energy field that is much more vibrant than inanimate objects.

Many religions and cultures have understood that energy fields exist. The energy is called Chi by the Chinese, Prana by the Hindus and Ki or Qi by the Japanese.

Through his chiropractic practice, Dr. Nelson explores the idea that an emotion can become trapped in the energy or Chi of a human.

How Emotions Get Trapped

Our emotions enliven our existence and are an important part of our physical experience.

However, there are negative emotions that you may have experienced that you would rather put behind you. There may be negative emotions that have gotten trapped in your existence that are causing harm without you noticing them.

You can trap an emotion when you are ill and your body's defenses are low, when you are verbally or physically attacked by someone you trust, when you perceive that you are under emotional and verbal attack, when you feel as if you did something wrong or even if you are completely unaware.

Dr. Nelson talks about emotions that get trapped when you are in the womb and even from other people you are around that you may not know.

For instance, one of the trapped emotions I released came from someone I did not even know nor was I able to identify them. The emotion got trapped when I was in college and living in a dormitory. I was sick with the flu and it attached at that point. I was able to release it even though I didn't know the person's name.

Use A Refrigerator Magnet

Sounds crazy, doesn't it? But the truth is a refrigerator magnet is all you need to release the trapped emotion. You don't have to purchase anything fancy unless you want to, although Dr. Nelson uses Nikken magnets as well as refrigerator magnets.

The magnets I use are the thin business card size magnets. But I have also used round ones about an inch in diameter.

Look for something you can hold easily in your hand, something with somewidth and length to it, like the Cavallini Magnet Set of Butterflies in the photo to the right.

You could add extra umph by choosing a magnet set with a particular meaning for you.

How to Use the Refrigerator Magnet

First, you discover what the trapped emotion is and where it is located by using Dr. Nelson's easy muscle testing methods and chart system. You can do this on your own without help from anyone else.

Then, once the trapped emotion is ready for release, you use the magnet to make that happen. You need to be able to hold the magnet securely in your hand, place it between the eyes and move it over the forehead, across the top of the head and down the back of the head to the top of the spine.

Keeping your intent at the forefront of your thoughts helps direct the process.

Can You Answer this Question?

Do You Believe Trapped Emotions Can Affect Your Quality of Life?

What Are My Results?

Honestly, I have no clue how this works and I am not even sure I need the magnet to make it work. I believe that the process of recognizing the trapped emotion and releasing it mentally might be enough, but using the magnet gives a focus to the process that is helpful.

After each time I work with the subconscious to identify and eliminate a trapped emotion I feel lighter and more comfortable in my body. Life seems to fall into place more easily. I have not, however, had an overnight event that would set this apart from normal life...things just seem to get better and I can't explain how.

I fell several years ago and injured my right hand and I also have some carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists (must be Squidooing too much). The pain from the injury and the carpal tunnel have reduced since I began using Dr. Nelson's methods.

What Dr. Nelson Says:

Dr. Nelson says about 30 percent of his patients show immediate marked physical and emotional improvement after he works on them. The other 70 percent improve over time. And he notes that the patients that really leave an impression on him are the ones he doesn't see for months or a year after treatment. When he crosses their paths at a later point in time they are happier and living completely different lives than they were prior to treatment.

Others Working with the Power of Intent

Masaru Emoto works with the power of intent and thought and how it can change the composition of water. Emoto photographs the water molecules before and after using prayer, words, scent and music on the water.

The structure of the water changes in a beneficial way when love, hope, joy and other lighthearted and positive thoughts are sent to or infused in the water. However, heavy metal music, negative words, phrases or names can destroy the structure of the water.

Considering humans are mostly water, understanding this impact could impart wisdom about the best ways to live healthy lives. It could even be the answer to an aging body.

Here is an article about Masaru Emoto's work.
