Vitafusion MultiVites are the only reason that I take vitamins as an adult. From the moment my mother refused to buy me the Bugs Bunny children's vitamins until I came across Vitafusion MultiVites Gummy Vitamins for Adults at Costco in my early twenties, I ignored my doctor's recommendation to take a daily multivitamin. Can you blame me? Most adult vitamins are unpleasant. If you are an adult looking for a vitamin, be sure to check out the selection offered by Vitafusion.

Because these are a gummy vitamin and not massive hard-to-swallow pill, and taste delicious, they are a delight to take. I'll even admit, I have had to resist the urge to eat a handful of these vitamins a day because the fruity flavours taste almost like candy. Remember - vitamins, no matter how delicious they may be, should never be treated like candy.

But there's more to these vitamins than their great taste. According to the product description on the Vitafusion website, each serving provides as much vitamin A as one cup of broccoli, as much vitamin C as one tangerine and as much vitamin D as 5oz of salmon.

Unlike other multivitamins for adults, I find Vitafusion MultiVites Gummy Vitamins to be very easy on my stomach. It's great - I can even take these on an empty stomach.

If you purchase any of the gummy vitamins by Vitafusion, make sure you keep them in a cool place, out of direct sunlight. Last summer I left the bottle in front of the window and it didn't take long for the vitamins to become one giant blob. That being said, I continued to take them and finished the bottle. They tasted fine, I just had to pull them apart each morning.

Like any other vitamin, the Vitafusion MultiVites Gummy Vitamins for Adults has a childproof safety cap. The first time I ever purchased this product, I noticed that it took me a few days to get use to the cap. While this has not been a problem for me, it could be a challenge for some.

Now that I have found Vitafusion, I don't ever want to use another brand of vitamins again. My only complaint is that I find their products difficult to find in stores, and even online. But that's not the only thing stopping me from relying solely on Vitafusion for all my vitamin and supplement needs. Before deciding to take a vitamin or supplement in gummy form, I think it is important to keep in mind the effectiveness. Like chewable vitamins, gummy vitamins are absorbed faster than pills because you chew them rather than swallow whole (source). But gummy vitamins don't tend to contain as much or as many nutrients as chewables (source).

Do you feel gummy vitamins are an effective alternative to pills?
