I have fought an on-going battle with my weight for the past twenty years. I have tried all types of programs and bought a variety of exercise equipment and machines to help me lose weight. While I have been able to maintain my weight, but I have not been very good at losing any.

In the past, I have used Jenny Craig and NutriSystem. I have also attended meetings of Weight Watchers, and used their website. I know that many other women have gone through the same thing I have.

Like most women, I lost weight on these programs, but I could not stay on the programs forever. After all, spending a monthly fee to either go to meetings or buy the special foods that these programs offer gets expensive after a while. In addition, at some point you feel as though you have learned how the programs work and you feel fairly confident that you can continue your weight loss on your own.

Of course, if you stop using their programs, you often cannot get access to the special foods any longer. That is so frustrating, especially as you see your weight gradually creep up.

Some items may be available in your local grocery store ... such as Weight Watchers ice cream bars. However, other items may be very difficult to find at the store..

For example, these brownies are one of my favorite snacks. It is so nice to have a treat you can enjoy anywhere, and they work well with other diet programs in addition to Weight Watchers. They are a delicious treat and they are lower in fat and calories than the average brownie or other snack. You can take these brownies with you as a snack and, in several situations, I have taken them with me to parties so that I could still enjoy a sweet treat when everyone else was eating cookies or cake.

I love these brownies and I keep them on-hand to satisfy my sweet tooth. I also throw a few in my purse when I travel. They keep me from being tempted to eat treats from convenience stores ... which are almost always much higher in fat, sugar and calories.

 

More Weight Watchers Snacks

No matter how great the brownies are, you are bound to get tired of them if you don't have some other snack foods, too. The whole point to the Weight Watcher foods is to give you choices ... so you are less tempted to eat something you shouldn't.

In addition to the brownies mentioned above, you can also find chocolate chips cookies and snack cakes in both chocolate and vanilla flavors.

If you cannot find them in your local grocery store, you can find them online. Several online retailers carry them, including Amazon.

Other Ways to Stick With Your Diet

If you are struggling to lose weight, you may find it helpful to keep track of what you eat and follow the Weight Watchers points programs.

You can find phone apps that will help you track your points. You can also go to Weight Watchers meetings in your area. Some health insurance companies will pay a portion of the membership fee. Some people like the option of joining Weight Watchers online.

Don't forget to get exercise. Depending on what you are doing, you can earn an extra point for about 15 minutes of exercise, including walking, swimming, weight training, yoga, bicycling or horseback riding. In this way, you can enjoy these guilt-free snacks, as long as you stay within your points limit.
