When you are on the treadmill don't hold on. If you hold on while walking or jogging, it decreases the intensity, which decreases your calorie burn by up to 24 percent.
Maintain an 80%-85% maximum heart rate while working out.
Make sure you’ve got killer music. An iPod is a good accessory to have.
Try not to break up your workouts. The ideal workout should consist of 30 minutes in one sitting instead of breaking it up into 10 minutes three times a day.
