Just a thought...why would you feed your plant's nutrients but not your body?
Most of us enjoy having nice yards with luscious grass and colorful healthy flower gardens. We spend a lot of time nurturing them with the perfect fertilizers, minerals, phosphorus, nutrients, sun, water etc.
Has the thought never occurred to you that your body needs vitamins, nutrients, minerals, water etc. also? Since most of us don't eat healthy enough we need supplements to help the process along to keep us healthy. Its just that some of us don't understand what our bodies really need. If we are deficient in something our body tries to tell us by giving "PAIN" signals. Then we run to the doctor. Sometimes we run to the doctor for simple things that we can / could have prevented ourselves in the first place.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to the doctor or vitamin/supplements are a cure all. I'm just saying " Pay more attention to your body and nurture it more". You might have fewer runs to the doctor in the long run.

The best source of Vitamin D is the SUN. Due to the health risks we hear about Sun's ray's now a days. We tend to keep our bodies covered as much as possible while we are in the sun. You shouldn't of course bake yourself in the sun to get as much Vitamin D as possible!
A little a day should be considered. In now a days hectic work life most of us can't enjoy the suns rays so we have to find other sources for Vitamin D. That is when a good Vitamin D supplement should be taken daily.

Thus, this is why we move on to Vitamin Supplements. We probably only eat a few of these foods every now and then.Therefore we are not getting enough Vitamin D. This is something I never thought about in the past. I knew that Vitamins such as A, B, C etc, were important but I never imagined that Vitamin D had such a big impact on my body. Did you?

Oh sure, people take their daily vitamin pill not really paying attention what these vitamins do for their body. Of course as anything else you shouldn't overdose on them. Taking the right amount can do wonders for you. Sometimes taking each vitamin individually is a little better than taking one multivitamin pill because, some of the other ingredients in them might not agree with YOUR body. There might be one or two vitamins that you might be allergic to. You might suffer constipation or diarrhea. If you start off taking them separately you will know which ones work for you and which ones don't agree with you.
Since this Lens is about Vitamin-D3 I will stick to that instead of going into all the others.
Recommended daily amount of Vitamin D3
Different people and circumstances need different amounts.
Any where between 200 iu to 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 each day. Based on your deficient symptom and what your body can tolerate.
The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for vitamin D3 varies with age, sex, and various medical conditions.
I started my husband on 10,000 IU for the first two weeks then lowered it to 5000 IU's and now he takes 2500 IU daily. He takes a break from it for 2 weeks after 3 months. Then starts again. That works for him.
This might be different for you.
