Thanks for these ideas. Last year, I bought a black spandex jumpsuit from Hot Topic, and added purple and gold wings to it to be a wingsuit flyer. Only problem is, no one knew what that was!

This year, I believe I'll go as a unicorn.

Great ideas! I agree with the other user that you should wear a padded bra or something that will make your chest look XXL, so I'd recommend getting a cheap super push up bra from Walmart or something. Also, you'll need a blonde wig if you don't already have blonde hair.

Where's Waldo made me laugh because I haven't thought about him in a while!

Definitely will keep these ideas in mind!

Au Fait, lol, you bring up a good point. I'm kind of lazy when it comes to Halloween costumes, when I take my daughter out, or if I am going to a party. I bought a very good fitting medieval dress that looks good on me, so I have been wearing that for 4 years. I did this hub because I needed some new ideas. I actually saw a pic recently of what Barbie would look like if she had real proportions, it looked, um, different. Thanks!

It's almost Halloween and I think this hub gives some unique and interesting options. I think you may have left something out with the Barbie costume, though it's very nice. Barbie's bust is about 6 times the size of her waist, so in addition to some women (or men) needing a little padding, they might also need something to help them stand up straight as all that charm might be hard on their backs. Just thinking out loud here . . .

The Miley Cyrus costume was certainly interesting, and I'll leave it at that. I do think this is a great article for some 'different' and not so run of the mill costumes.
