2019 A New Years Resolution
Not too late to make your New Year's resolutions stick!
Never too late to make your New Years Resolutions for 2019
It’s never too late to make your New Year’s resolutions; millions of people set their goals to change their lives for the better, by the time they get through the first couple of weeks in January motivation fades and will feel defeated in not keeping up their resolutions. Many reasons for this setback could be it’s during winter, 1st January when many people are so hyped and happy to set their goals to see them through and feel drudgery to complete setting personal goals in the cold winter months. Why not try spring when the air is fresh, life is just waking up from hibernation and the flowers re-born, a start of a new cycle with life being born again. May, I suggest keeping your list of resolutions; start them in the spring, giving you a new lease of life and more motivation instead of the cold drudgery winter months. This year for 2018 I have found a new resolution list for you to consider, if you have given up all hope on your own when you started on 1st January 2018.

A New Years Resolution
Now Christmas is past,
All the love, joy, and peace we share,
Has made me think at last,
New Year’s eve, will it be fair.
To grant everyone’s wishes,
To make sure no-one misses,
To stop famine, wars, abusiveness and pollution,
With these 12 days of Christmas,
With the New Year’s resolution.
Let the old year out!
The New year in without a doubt,
Is that not what Christmas is all about?
To keep Joy, love and peace,
To make sure word gets around,
For those people in need, close and dear,
All the year round,
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
Try, Try Again
Many people fall at the first hurdle after a few days, weeks or even months. Is this you? You keep up a regular basis to improve yourself and something got in the way to prevent you going to the Gym regularly, you could not get those ingredients for that special/improve your diet, there are fewer jobs in your field of expertise that makes you think it’s not worth looking for that special position, work gets in the way to spend more time with the family and the list goes on, this more than likely makes you feel defeated. The saying ‘try, try again, practise makes perfect’. The point is to try not to let your goals dwindle; keep on trying it is never too late to start resolutions. All it takes is patience, persistence and organization to spend a little time to yourself to carry out and set the tasks you have made for yourself for the rest of the year 2018; you do not need too many goals if only but a few. Setting yourself goals in your life is a personal gratification when achieved.
As the minutes tick by,
2018 will fly,
For all the world to see,
2019 will be.
No fuss, no fury, in the months to come,
O Lord, let your will be done.
Let the homeless be homed,
Let the abusiveness stop,
So there no tears to mop.
Let the world shine in peace,
Let there be love and joy,
For every man, woman, girl and boy.
Let the cruelty stop, to man’s best friend
Let the insanity end.
Let no-one be forgot

2011 New Years Resolution
I wrote this article back in 2011, the New Year’s resolution then:-
1 Better Grades
2 Enjoy life More
3 Get Fit
4 Save Money
5 Become more involved
6 Spend more time with family and friends
7 Get out of Debt
8 Fall in Love
10 Become better organized
The resolution list is not much different from 2011 to 2018. Some people purposely add to their resolutions list to volunteer to a charity organization; helping destitute people with the way today’s world is as it is.
Spare A Thought For those in Need
Achieving your own resolutions can open your eyes to new opportunities and possibilities even if you do not have being a volunteer on your list. The point I am making is ‘you are sparing a thought for other people; when on your list is more than likely, spend more time with family and friends. People are living out on the streets through no fault of their own, people going through hardships find themselves with no support with people who can help (authorities), but they do not and oversee the situations about why destitute people live out on the streets. To me these are the forgotten ones. If being a Volunteer is on your New Year’s resolutions list to help others and donate to Charities, please try to spare a thought for people who are in destitute situations.
It is never too late to start your New Year’s resolutions, even though it does not matter how late in the year it is.
All the best for the New Year for 2018.
