2016 A New Years Resolution

Updated on December 23, 2015

New Years Resolutions for 2016

Thousands and millions of people make their New Year’s resolutions and try to keep to them through out the year. They are very enthusiastic to get started, after a while this positive ness fades, at least 8% to 10% of people manage to keep their New Year’s resolutions by making their lists to meet their goals of self-improvement. For 2016 the list of New Year's resolutions has changed.

The top 10 New Year’s resolutions I have found for 2016 are:-

  1. Spend more time with Family and Friends
  2. .Keeping Fit
  3. Loose Weight and keeping the Weight down..
  4. Quit Smoking
  5. Enjoy Life more.
  6. Quit Drinking.
  7. Get out of Debt.
  8. Learn Something New.
  9. Help Others,
  10. Get Organized.

Many of us give up at the first hurdle after a few days, weeks or even months. Is this you? All you need is a little support and will-power to achieve your plans.

I bet by now your New Year’s resolutions for 2016, have now gone through the window, you have found life so busy that you found yourself on that roller coaster and not being able to get off.

All it takes a little organization and spend a little time for yourself, to carry the tasks you have set for yourself for the year. You do not need to set out many goals for yourself if only but a few.

I wrote this article back in 2011, hoping that some people would consider today's world as it is. People are living out on the streets through no fault of their own, people going through hardships and are by themselves with no support. To me these are the forgotten ones. If you have chosen your New Year’s resolution No. 2 Volunteer to help others and donate to Charities, please try to spare a thought for people who are in destitute situations.

It is never too late to start your New Year’s resolutions even now you could start one if you have not thought of any.

All the best for the New Year for 2016

Auld Lang Syne

A New Years Resolution

Now Christmas is past,

All the love, joy, and peace we share,

Has made me think at last,

New Year’s eve, will it be fair.

To grant everyone’s wishes,

To make sure no-one misses,

To stop famine, wars, abusiveness and pollution,

With these 12 days of Christmas,

With the New Year’s resolution.

Let the old year out!

The New year in without a doubt,

Is that not what Christmas is all about?

To keep Joy, love and peace,

To make sure word gets around,

For those people in need, close and dear,

All the year round,

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

The Bee Gees Thank You For Christmas

As the minutes tick by,

2015 will fly,

For all the world to see,

2016 will be.

No fuss, no fury, in the months to come,

O Lord, let your will be done.

Let the homeless be homed,

Let the abusiveness stop,

So there no tears to mop.

Let the world shine in peace,

Let there be love and joy,

For every man, woman, girl and boy.

Let the cruelty stop, to man’s best friend

Let the insanity end.

Let no-one be forgot

Auld Lang Syne.

It is never too late, for anything in my opinion. I thank you ever so much for the wishes. I do hope, and I have taken a look that your ventures happen with success.

      Thank you again BlossomSB

I guess it's really late in the year to be commenting on the New Year, but it's better late than never and this is a great hub. I pray that your dreams will come true. Voted up.

....well you write so beautifully from the heart and that's really all that matters because as I often say:

if you write from the heart the mind always follows - and you do both very well - and a happy new year to you (it's never too late) with warm wishes for your health, happiness and prosperity in 2012.
