Hot Trends for Halloween: Halloween Costumes for Dogs

Updated on June 15, 2012

Halloween Costumes for Dogs 2012 - why should parents and kids have all the fun during Halloween 2012? If you want to make sure your fur-baby gets in on the Halloween fun check out some of the hot trends in Halloween costume ideas for dogs and cats for 2012. It’s hard to find anything more adorable than a dachshund dressed as a hot dog! Except maybe a bulldog dressed as a ballerina.

If you are really in the Halloween spirit you can even incorporate your dogs costume into yours and your family’s. Dressing your pup as a hot dog? You can go as mustard or ketchup. If Pirates of the Caribbean is your thing, then make your dog a part of the fun, too. The pirate costumes for dogs are stinking adorable, especially with the little eye patch. Or, dress man’s best friends as none other than Mr. Jack Sparrow. Everyone can be part of the fun with a pirate theme. Get one of the kids to go as a parrot to complete the crew. Another fun idea: dress your pooch as a jailbird while you sport a police costume.

My favorite combination has to be dressing the pooch as a bumblebee and the kids as perfect little flowers. It’s hard not to love giggling at a bulldog dressed as a bumblebee. Is Disney more your style? Perfect – your canine companion can dress as Flower the Skunk while his human companions are Bambi and Thumper! The potential ideas are endless. Have a little fun this Halloween and bring Fido along. You can find some great deals on pet costumes online.

If you are feeling really adventurous, throw a pet-friendly costume party! Invite your friends and neighbors and get ready for a howling good time. The important thing this Halloween is to bring your pets along for the fun. No matter how you celebrate, Halloween 20112 has gone to the dogs. Of course, dressing your dog up doesn’t have to be for Halloween only. Fido can get decked out for any occasion from Halloween to Christmas to an Oscar Party. So get dressed and have fun! I hope you can find just the Halloween Costumes for Dogs you are searching for.

Have you dressed your pets up for Halloween?

This is a cute idea. I don't think my cat would go for dressing up in a costume. She would probably just wiggle out of it and give me the look of "what in the world." If I had a doggy, I would dress her up in a costume. There are such cute costumes for dogs.
