30 Days of Ramadan Quiz

Learn Thirty Facts About Ramadan - in Quizzes

It was prior to 2001, when Muslims were scarcely newsworthy, that I began my inquiry into the faith.

Today we live in a different time, when today's programs and papers promulgate the acquisition of a mostly falsities about the religion and its adherents.

Had I tried to learn about Ramadan and about Islam in general from the public sphere, I would have amassed a real hodgepodge of bits of truth and falsity, mostly the latter.

Drama drives the news and entertainment shows. Sadly, it's often easier and more interesting to absorb the daily doses without filtering them through the tastebuds of truth.

One can learn any manner of misinformation from the nightly news,. When rumor or misnomer is repeated often enough, it begins to read like fact. I appreciate each instance of neutral and factual presentation about Muslims and about Islam. My intention is dispel some rumors about Ramadan practices.

Calligraphy reads: "God, there is no god but He, the Lord of His prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Lord of all that has been created".
