July 4th is know to celebrate by having fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts and political speeches and ceremonies. It’s about celebrating the values that the country was founded upon. Families often celebrate the day off with decorations (e.g., streamers, balloons, and clothing) are generally colored red, white, and blue, the colors of the american flag. Parades are often in the morning, while fireworks displays occur in the evening at such places as parks, fairgrounds, or town squares and backyard barbecues with hot dogs and hamburgers.Plan your 4th July picnic or cookout a head of time and start gathering your stuff together so you don't fight the crowds and you don't feel rushed.Try to get things ready the night before so you are more relaxed on the day of 4th July and can enjoy the good times and making great memory's. I have shared just a few things that might help get you going for your party.

Hot dogs and hamburgers are a classic July 4th tradition, but don't let that steer you away from putting your own twist on tradition! Serve yours with a condiment bar featuring relish, a selection of mustard's, ketchup, barbecue sauce, sauerkraut, sliced or chopped onions, tomatoes, lettuce and whatever else your family likes. You can make it more interesting by including a few fun toppers too like chili, guacamole or hot sauce. Want to do something different than the usual burger? Serve marinated grilled chicken on rolls instead, for a different take on the traditional fare.

Grab bandannas in the three colors.Fold each one in half to make a triangle then tie them together by having the point down and tie one corner to another corner on another bandanna.Hang up and enjoy.

If you want to get more creative with it has a way sewing them together and using string.

You can get mason jars and have the kids paint them red, white and blue and add a candle to the jar and may be some ribbon.

Create a balloon arrangement for your tables centerpiece from balloons..Use red, white and blue balloons to create arrangements of varying sizes.

Stitch together the red, white and blue bandannas together by sewing them together.First you would wash and iron your bandannas to avoid shrinkage and color bleeding later. Before sewing, figure out the pattern of the final tablecloth. It's fun to lay it out and decide if you want a regular or irregular pattern. Pin the bandannas right sides together aligning the edges and corners where they meet to form a row and sew the rows together. After sewing your rows, press the seams to one side to keep the work neat.Once you have your short rows you can sew these rows together at the long edges to form the tablecloth quilt.

Whats your favorite from the grill?
