Anguilla. Do you know much about it? I can't honestly claim to know much about it, and I suspect that apart from geography teachers and native Anguillans, there are a whole lot of people who know nothing about it! But of course, if you're looking for a present for someone who originally hails from Anguilla, or who is just very enthusiastic (and excessively, verbosely so, perhaps) about the place, then it lends a whole different cast to the subject. (It makes looking for and buying a gift for them a whole lot easier, to begin with!)

Of course, what makes the whole project a little more difficult is if you know nothing and less than nothing about Anguilla itself. But do you really know nothing about it? Let me see, off-hand I would say that that's me to a tee, but when I think about it.. Uh, Anguilla is an island? Isn't it? And I must be able to come up with a little more than that, I think... Um, I do believe that there's a particular animal named after it? Maybe a shark, I think? How'd I do?

Well, if you did like me and you need to find yourself an Anguilla-based present for a co-worker, friend, sister or other inhabitant of your professional or social life, then you may just be in need of some asisstance! First off, let's think, what are the easy options and the obvious choices? Well, you could always go for a deluxe travel guide with lots of lovely colour pictures, if, say, your proposed gift-receiver is actually planning to visit Anguilla in the near future.

Possibly usefully, there's a rather well-known blog about Anguilla (just check out the links box below) that may also assist you in finding something suitable. And maybe if you're feeling flush, you can chip in for your giftee to receive some money towards an Anguillan holiday or a timeshare residence, even, since the place is supposed to be rather lovely (and looks pretty close to heaven in the photographs!)
