Best KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Mixer with Recipes
KitchenAid Stand Mixer Gift Guide!
I'm not sure how this mixer can become any better that it already is - except that it now comes in Raspberry Pink - so gorgeous. KitchenAid Artisan is my first high class stand mixer, and it remains my favorite.
I like the fact that it is small enough to tuck away in a cupboard when I'm using the countertop for other purposes.
I can grasp and lift this heavy duty mixer, and place it in my slide-out tray in an under counter cabinet, or take it to the other side of the kitchen.
And a huge plus is that there is always another sturdy attachment for my newest cooking endeavor. Does my skill level ever grow, every time I receive the just right attchment!

Shape it into a ball in your hands.
6. Get out a second, large bowl (or wash out mixer bowl and dry it). Return dough ball to bowl.
Spread 1 T oil over the bread ball. Cover with damp dishtowel, or plastic wrap and towel. I like to use a sheet of wax paper over the mixer bowl, covered by a slightly damp dishtowel. Set bowl in barely warmed oven (turn oven off and be certain the temperature is no hotter than 100 degrees. Leave to rise for 60 minutes or more, until the bread dough has doubled in size.
7. Turn dough onto flour dusted pastry cloth or silicone baking pad.
Cut or spoon out teaspoon-sized pieces of dough, and roll them into marbles of dough.
8. Using oiled fingers, roll each marble in a small bowl of cinnamon sugar or cinnamon/Truvia mixture.
Place them on greased baking pan, close together. Cover with wax paper and towel or plastic wrap. Let rise for an hour.
9. Bake 30+ minutes in 350 degree oven.
Cool on rack.
10. If you wish, frost the balls.
Mix powdered sugar with a bit of milk, water, or vanilla flavoring and drizzle on the icing. But these are good just as they come from the oven!

Handy Pasta Drying Rack Add-on
I like this drying rack because it takes up a fraction of the space, compared to laying the fresh pasta out on the countertop. Gives me back that limited counterspace which I need for dolling up the salad, making the dressing, and prepping the plates. Sufficent for 6 servings. Get one! Get two!

Fabulous! My favorite beater because it cleans the bowl, while the ingredients are mixing. I love the innovative design that allows for my favorite chocolate chips and nuts to move through the cookie cough, due to the alternating short fins spacing. You will want this beater, and in fact it will become your favorite beater. America's Test Kitchen prefers this blade over the others. You will love it too.
Super Attachment Pack with grinders
With this set it's easy to slice, shred and grind, cut and piece veggies.
I gave up my meat maestro for the solo life so I haven't used the meat grinder, but the sausage maker will be terrific to make homemade sausage, that meets anyone's dietary needs. This turns a stand mixer into a real workhorse of a mixer.
