Making New Year resolutions is so cool,

Just think as you go your merry way

Saying to yourself, I resolve to say

Only nice things about everyone passing my way.

Oh, yes, and be sure to resolve with full intent

To remain steadfast throughout the year God has sent.

Easy as pie, you see, for all you have to do

Resolve again the resolutions you made last year,

You can be proud of those you kept all year.

What’s this, last year?, I am sure that I kept them,

But right now I can’t seem to remember none at all.

I wish you hadn’t brought up last year

I just want to think about the New Year.

Now let me see which New Year resolution

Is the most important one to me in my second childhood.

That’s weird, I can’t think of any resolutions to make,

Does that mean I am perfect and now I can decree

No need of changing any of my ways.

I think I will sleep on this for a few more days.

Hi Senoritaa, I am not a good keeper of New Years Resolutions, although I make them throughout the year. Thanks for smiling with me. Robert

Haha. Funny. New year resolutions are definitely the hardest to keep, and yes, we go in cycles each year making the same resolutions, and mask them with different names.
