Cheap Groomsmen Gifts and Ideas

Updated on March 10, 2014

Getting Started

Of course you want to give your groomsmen really special gifts. But often, by the time the reception, cake, photographer, flowers and band have been paid, there’s little left for bridal party gifts.

So here are some ways you can offer a gift that looks more expensive than it is. It’ll be your little secret how little you paid for their groomsmen gifts.

Shop Online

Start with favor wholesalers. There are many companies online who will sell you items in bulk. And you can even get them engraved. Search for items that are substantial and of good quality. Then save big on a bulk order and one shipping fee. It beats walking laps around the mall in search of something appropriate.

Have you tried shopping online for wedding supplies?

The Flask

The idea of the flask is nice as it brings thoughts of quieter times. Offering up an engraved flask that’s done in silver tone and personalized with each groomsman’s monogram is a nice gesture.

There are tons of different designs now days, and unlimited ways to personalize them. So you don't have to settle for the first flask you see.

Plus, with so many of these products available, there are plenty of options for budget-friendly selections.

Pocket Knife

Guys love their tools, we all know that. There are some terrific pocket knives that do just about everything you would need a tool for. You can order them online engraved with initials or names and give a gift you’re proud of.

Find one that best suits their personality and hobbies to give a gift that they'll really love and use.

Engraved Glassware

Personalized or engraved glassware is another option for a unique groomsmen gift.

When you order in bulk, you can get an entire set of wine glasses engraved for each guy for a relatively small amount of money.

You can even have a design engraved on them that’s meaningful to you. The choice is yours, and the cost for this type of item is not too spendy!

Cigar Holders

Cigars are kind of an old-time tradition that many men still share today. And, cigars are starting to resurge in popularity and are always in fashion for weddings.

When the men step outside for a smoke, make sure they have their monogrammed cigar holders filled with premium cigars.

Cuff Links

You’re not going to score a pair of silver or gold cufflinks cheaply these days. But you can find them in base metals like bronze or brushed nickel that look every bit as nice. Have initials monogrammed on them. No one will suspect how little you paid. And it's something they'll have for years!

Great ideas here. We gave our groomsmen hats that my husband picked out, and a personalized golf bag to his best man. I love the personalized mug idea though.
