Christmas is a beautiful time of year when families and friends spend time with each other and give gifts. Sometimes people don't know what to give as a gift. You can always ask for a wish list but sometimes it's not an option. You just have to hope that they will like what you get them. It can be a wrapped gift or a gift that can't easily be wrapped with colorful wrapping paper. It can be something useful or something they might want. You just have to do it anyway to show how much you appreciate them and how much they have done for you.

Candles

You can always buy a Yankee candle for someone. They smell nice and last a long time. You can also buy a wax warmer or a scentsy. You can plug them in any where or sometimes they are battery operated. The person can buy the wax melts and choose which scent they want. These are awesome and will make their home smell nice and look elegant. They only cost around $15.00 USD depending on where you buy. The wax melts are about $2.00 USD for a pack of them. You can also get one of those battery operated candle sets. This are very smart to have if you have a power outage or just want to decorate.

DIY Projects

What is more better than a do it yourself project? If you have a artistic talent, you can give that away as a gift to show your friends and family. You can make a homemade card or crochet them a hat. If your great at painting, you can make them a moral for their living room. Homemade gifts are great and it shows how much you worked on the gift. They are a very special kind of gift that means something to you and also to them. Find out what colors they like or their favorite food. You can also bake them a batch of cookies for Christmas.

Money

Money is a great thing to give as a gift. They can use it how they want it or need it. You can also get a gift card for them to Starbucks or Walmart and you know it will come into good use. There are so many different gift cards out there. If you find out their favorite place to shop, ask that company if they have a gift card. Outback Steakhouse or Home Depot are other great gift cards to give as a gift. You can also load as much money as you want to give on the gift card, but put enough on it so it's enough for a purchase.

Is Christmas your favorite time of year?

Nice article and very thoughtful suggestions for gifting!

Particularly I like the idea of cash/ money and cash cards/ gift cards, so that the person can buy something they need.

      Thanks for sharing!
