Christmas Time

Updated on December 22, 2016

The Days Before Christmas

When the month of December hits it is then time for the planning of Christmas and all of the gifts that have to be bought. Everyone seems to be both happy and sad during Christmas time, due to the fact that yeah you get to buy presents for people. However, then it is time to spend a lot of money on the people you love. For me Christmas has its ups and downs. I often like to visit places that have a lot of lights up. Or possibly go out for coffee and just walk around downtown. Little things tend to be some of the most memorable moments for people. Christmas truly is a time to celebrate and be happy. Even when it comes time for snow to fall. This is a time for everyone to take a step back and see that there are people in this world that love them. Not only that but it is also a time to show appreciation to the people that have always been there for you. Giving gifts should not be a stressful ordeal but a process of which you enjoy because you are giving back to special people in your life. Take the time on the days leading up to Christmas to find presents that will show that you care about the people you are going to see. It is not what people say but what they do.

Here are some things to do during the Christmas Season

During the Christmas season there is plenty to do.

Some of which are:

  • Baking Cookies
  • Shopping
  • Going to a play
  • Getting coffee
  • Watching Christmas movies
  • Going out to a Christmas Movie
  • Spending time in front of the fireplace with your significant other.

Those are just some things that you could do this Christmas. Be thankful for who you get to spend it with and do not take the time that you have together for granted. Even if things are hard for you at the time in regard to being able to afford certain things. Then spoil each other with love and thankfulness and realize that even though times are tough right now, that it does not mean it will be this way forever.

Hold each other close and look into each others eyes, knowing that you love each other. It is a time to be joyful. Go out and enjoy the little things. Be spontaneous and show the one that you love that you can still have fun. The list above are just a few of the things you could do this Christmas season. It may not be much but at least it is a start.
