COLORFUL HALLOWEEN SALSA
Salsa is known best energetic dish that provides a lot of vitamins to human body. The use of olive oil is good for heart and skin .The use of black pepper and red crush chili is not only good for stomach but also for metabolic system. Here, I am going to share with all of you a recipe of my kitchen; hope all will enjoy the taste and benefits of salsa.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
There is no hard and fast rule to prepare salsa. You can use any seasonal fruit to prepare salsa.
If you don’t want to use olive oil or if you have any allergy than use any cooking oil.
Spring onion can also be used instead of onions.
And if your children don’t eat a fruit or vegetable that is the best way to give them fruits. Don’t use red chili when you are preparing salsa for your children.
Preparation time ---- 20 minutes
Serve 4 -----5 persons
4 large size mangoes
2 medium size onions
2 medium size tomatoes (cut in cubes without seeds)
2 large capsicums green and orange
1 German pepper
3 medium size peaches
1 large apple
Half cup of boiled chick peas
11/4 cup of lemon juice
1 ½ table spoon of olive oil
Half teaspoon of black crush pepper
Half tea spoon of red crush chili
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon sugar
Cut all vegetables and fruits in small cubes.
Mix black pepper, salt, sugar, red crush chili in lemon juice.
Add all vegetables and fruits in lemon juice and serve cold salsa with spreading olive oil over it.Copyright © Asma Iftikhar 2011
