Costume Ideas for the letter J

Updated on December 2, 2014

Are You Looking For Costumes Starting With The Letter J?

The world is divided between those people who have a costume party with no theme (and guests wish there was, because they're spoilt for choice at the costume store) and those who have a party with a theme (and guests wish it didn't because there's this cool costume they've always wanted the chance to buy/hire). Can't win!

A party based on a particular letter of the alphabet, which in the current case we shall call 'J,' has a lot going for it. The great advantage with having a letter as a theme is that guests are less restricted: They can work within their chosen budget, be as creative or conservative as they wish and with J being a mid-range, not over-used letter like those vowels that get everywhere, there's a good range of possibilities, some of which we aim to demonstrate below. It's not a comprehensive list, but you can use it to give your guests ideas (if they need them). We do update it from time to time and we're always open to suggestions for additions in order to help others further.

'Hi, just pointing out, Jason' was actually from 'Friday The 13th' movies, not 'Halloween'.
