Costume Ideas for the Letter S
More Costume Ideas From The Fancy Dress Expert
Although people like to have a theme to their costume event (it gives them some terms of reference within which to work), you don't want to make the theme too restrictive that they feel put off the wholeidea and may not bother turning up. A theme based on a letter of the alphabet can be a good compromise: You choose it because it is relevant in some way - it's one of your initials, the first letter of the month or has some other dark significance. Your potential guests can then decide how much or little effort, expense and creativity they want to put in without too much pressure (that's all down to choosing the present or how fashionably late to be).
This lens is brought to you by the letter S, a letter which is often associated with plurals because adding it to a word makes it more - just right for couples costumes! In practice the letter offers a wide range of possibilities, quite a few of which are illustrated here. Chances are you can think of more - 'S' is not always for 'spoon-feeding' and I'm happy to take suggestions for additions, which can be added to updates from time to time.
If what you find here is not enough, then pop along to my website here for more fancy dress costumes and check out the list of theme-based blogs for extra help.
