Have Fun!

No matter what you choose to go as, make sure you have fun with it. The whole idea is to have a good time, and if you're lucky, win a Halloween gift basket in the costume contest. Choose a theme you’ll enjoy portraying for the evening and then get ready to get into the parts. Everyone will love if you stay in character for the evening and refuse to talk about anything your character wouldn’t. Practice your voice and intonations. Get an accent down. The more fun you have with it, the more memorable the evening.

There are a number of high-quality sites online that sell couples Halloween costumes. It’s worth doing some research to find a costume that’s as unique as the two of you are.

Take the Poll!

Would you rather dress as a couple or individually?

I wish I had a man to do couples costumes, they look like so much fun! Thanks for the extensive list. My friend and I are actually being the Super Mario Bros. and we have another friend being Wario and Peach. :)

Great hub with lots of fun ideas. Love Halloween and my hubby and I usually dress up as a couple. We've gone as a couple M&M's, pimp and streetwalker, barney & betty (with friend who were fred and wilma), geisha girl and samurai warrior, etc. Always have lots of fun:)

I love it when a couple dresses as two parts of a whole - like oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, black and white, etc. My husband and I have dressed as M&M's before, it was fun!

I think I'd go for the David and Victoria Beckham :) It seems fun, and posh.
