The idea of this fun holiday drinking game is to take a drink when any of the "references" listed on the game board occur. So if you are watching your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie and someone in the movie mentions a dead relative, you take a drink. If one of the characters in the movie is named Chris, Nick, Holly, or any other Christmas related name, you take a drink. Read the drinking game and you will figure out how easy it is to play.

The rules to the Hallmark Movie Drinking Game Are As Follows:

Take a drink every time there is:

  1. A Reference to a dead relative
  2. Main character's name is related to Christmas - Holly, Noel, Chris, Nick etc.
  3. Anytime anyone disses fake Christmas trees
  4. Newcomer partakes in an old family or town tradition
  5. Hot chocolate, egg nog, apple cider
  6. "Near Miss" kiss X 2
  7. Snowball fight or ice skating X 2
  8. Ugly sweater or tie X 2
  9. Big city person transferred to a small town
  10. Christmas caroling, tree farm or baking cookies
  11. Mistletoe
  12. Magic deal with Santa or with an angel
  13. Any time you hear jingle bells
  14. Snowed in X 2

Finish The Drink When:

  1. A Cynic is filled with the Christmas Spirit
  2. It's Snowing on Christmas

  • 1 1/2 Ounce White Creme de Cacao
  • 1 Ounce Cream
  • 1 Ounce Peppermint Schnapps

Pour the ingredients into a shaker, add ice, and shake well. Get martini glasses and strain the mix into them. You can add a garnish of crushed peppermint candy canes, add a candy cane to the drink as a stirrer and begin your Hallmark movie game.
