Christmas at Work

It is the time of year for Christmas shopping or at least planning what you will purchase for Christmas. At many jobs, there is an annual Holiday Party. During this party, you may exchange gifts in a number of different ways. Some offices choose to go with a "Secret Santa" or "Secret Snowflake" gift exchange. Other offices go a wackier route with a "Wacky Gift Exhange" or a "White Elephant Gift Exchange." Often, with the White Elephant Gift Exchange, the crazier the gift, the bigger the hit it is at the Holiday Party. For this year, you don't want to be left out of the fun with a boring gift. The more fun, the better.

Even if your office does not participant in a gift exchange, many people enjoy giving gifts to co-workers or their boss. Many of the fun Christmas gifts listed in this hub make excellent gifts for co-workers. If you are a manager and looking for fun gifts for your employees, you might want to purchase some of these unique items for holiday presents at work.

Funky Scotch Tape Dispenser

No one likes to get boring office supplies for Christmas. However, anyone would enjoy something a little fun and crazy like a Red Shoe Scotch Tape Dispenser. It is practical for the job, yet it is really cute. This is the perfect gift for ladies that like wearing high heels. This can even work for the "Lady's Man" at your office as long as no one is easily offended.

Swimming Fish Desk Organizer

For the co-worker that loves fish and aquariums, why not give them a Swimming Fish Desk Organizer? It is cute, practical, and best of all, no food or cleaning is required. What a fun way to decorate a desk! This is the perfect gift if you are a Secret Santa and you already know in advance the recipient would appreciate a wacky, fish gift.

Toilet Mug

What can be tackier than a toilet mug? Not much, that is for sure. I happened to give this mug last year at the White Elephant Gift Exchange at my office. It was a big hit! The best thing to do is include some chocolate in the toilet as a special touch. It never hurts to give some tea and some cocoa to make the gift slightly more practical.

Think Pig!

If you are purchasing a Christmas gift for someone that likes pigs, or better yet, enjoys eating bacon, an oinking pig keychain or a bacon air freshener might just be the perfect gift. Sure, neither of these gifts serve a practical purpose. However, both the gifts are really funny. Both gifts are perfect for your White Elephant or Wacky Gift Exchange, too. Also, the oinking pig keychain and the bacon air freshener are reasonably priced. You can buy one or both for that special office holiday gift.

Dine Ink Pen Cap Eating Utensils

Are you the type of boss that really likes for your workers to stay at their desk and barely take a break? Well then, here is the perfect holiday gifts for you to give your employees. Dine Ink Pen Cap Eating Utensils are perfect because they are ink pens that double as eating utensils. Anyone receiving this gift will know he or she need not worry about ever taking an official lunch break again. Sitting at a desk and eating lunch with these wacky gifts is the best way to go!

Procrastination Poster

Would you like to find the perfect gift for the procrastinator in your office? How about a procrastination poster for Christmas this year! A procrastination poster will look perfect in any office. Of course, it may not go up on the wall for a while while your favorite procrastinator continues to put off doing the task.

The Butt Station

The is apparently a very popular wacky gift for this Christmas. Every search on Amazon pulls this delightful Tape Dispenser Pen and Memo Holder with Clip Storage. Obviously, this gift falls into two categories: 1) practical for a desk and 2) semi-offensive and wacky. If you are buying a gift for someone with a great sense of humor, this is an excellent gift. Furthermore, this is perfect for a Wacky Gift Exchange at an office full of workers that are not easily offended.

Instant Excuse Ball

Maybe you have a co-worker that likes to take a lot of time away from the office. A wonderful gift could just be the Instant Excuse Ball. Anytime your co-worker wants to bail out early or call out the next day, the Instant Excuse Ball will be right there with another brilliant excuse for not working. Why bother with a Magic 8 Ball when this is so much more useful?

More Fun Ideas

When choosing the perfect fun gift for the office, don't forget sometimes simplicity is the best idea. Fun ink pens or cute note pads can be perfect. What if you don't want to give something office-oriented? Why not give some wacky fuzzy slippers? You can find plenty of affordable, funny gifts for your office exchange.

Thank you so much, Victoria Lynn! I have to admit, I've been a little blank the past few days as far as new Christmas ideas go. I think I will write a couple of non-holiday hubs this week for now. Sometimes I just stumble upon an idea without even looking for one. Hopefully, that happens soon! Thanks for the compliments! I really appreciate it.

The tape dispensers are great, Jeannie! I also love the toilet mug. I'm continually amazed at the numerous holiday- appropriate hubs that you create. You just keep them coming--and with such a great writing style. Your writing is personable and easy-to-read. And I love your sense of humor!

Thank you both for your comments. Yes, these presents are great conversation starters at the office. I suppose anything that brightens someone's day at the office is a good thing.

What's good about having these gifts is that there will always be a time that someone will appreciate or give a funny comment about these funny Christmas gifts that, at any time, can spark an engaging conversation - giving life and variety to an otherwise boring day at the office.

Who would have thought of drinking from a toilet seat? Lol.

Great ideas! Funny hub! Voted up! :)

Some really great ideas here for work colleagues. I only have one problem - some of them are so awesome I'm likely to keep them all for myself rather than giving them away!! I will need to work on my lack of Christmas Spirit!!

    Great hub + voted up!!
