    Morning MG.

Nice hub and some great idea's.

Alas over here in Europe you won't find many RV's the size as you have in the USA.

I've been camping now for about ten years although we do the static thing. Infact we have two caravans one is our working van with toilet shower, kitchen, and eating area when it cold or wet. The other van is our living room and our sleeping/bedroom.

There are always little gadgets that we need.

    Hello mgwhite,

I have recently taken up camping and I thought your suggestions of 'gift ideas' very useful, especially the one pertaining to 'roadside assist' having gotten myself in a sticky situation after running down my vehicle battery on my first trip!

I thought an appropriate item/s to add to this list might be books on Wild Life appropriate to the area where those friends might be camping. I, personally, have particular interest in knowing about what birds I might see and, of course, any potentially dangerous critters such as spiders and snakes. With this in mind, a First Aid book might be appropriate too! :D
