Green Bean Casserole
There's a desire that wells up inside us every year around the holidays, for recipes the way mom used to make them, for everyone gathered around the table or for the magic that is in the holiday sesaon. With a little help from me and a delightful holiday recipe you can fulfill that desire. So put an extra leaf in the table, bring in the food and you favorite drink and set a few extra place mats, because the season of celebration is upon us......So lets start this Holiday season with making a great side dish Green Bean Casserole.
2 cans of your favorite condensed cream of mushroom soup ( 10 3/4 OZ EACH.
1 Cup of milk
2 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
8 Cups of cooked cut green beans
2 2/3 cups of french fried onions
1 Stir soup,milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in a 3 - quart casserole.
2 Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until the greenbeans mixture is hot and bubbling. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
3 Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown, then serve along with your main course.
The prep time is 10 minutes...cook time 30 minutes and this serves 12 people.
