Kid Crafts for Year of the Rooster: Chinese New Year Art Projects and Printables
The Year of the Rooster
The rooster is the 10th animal in the Chinese Zodiac, and the new year (which starts in much of Asia on January 28, 2017) heralds the start of the year named for this hardworking and talented, but sometimes preening and boastful animal.
People who are born in the Year of the Rooster are said to be courageous, talkative, and confident. They also have a reputation for being flashy dressers and low on energy in the evening, mirroring their animal counterparts. The recommended occupations for roosters are things that rely on impressing people: TV personalities, salespersons, athletes, etc.
